 Gonçalo Pescada is the first accordionist Doctor in Music and Musicology in Portugal. Now he is the responsible for and teacher of Accordion Studies in the Music Department at Evora University (state institution), one hour from Lisbon. This high institution provides all degrees (Licenciature, Master and Doctoral studies). All prospective interested students are welcome. The city of Évora is the capital of the Alentejo region, enclosed by medieval walls, and a large number of monuments dating from various historical periods, including a Roman Temple.
