| The first concert of the festival "December Evenings of Svyatoslav Richter" - The artist reads the Bible took place in Moscow‘s famous Pushkin Museum on December, 2nd. The festival opened with the Moscow Soloists chamber ensemble directed by Yuri Bashmet. Together with the legendary team, Russian stars performed: Yevgeny Mironov, Alexander Rudin and Friedrich Lips. The program of the concert included „Seven words“ in the versions by Joseph Haydn and Sofia Gubaidulina, based on the Gospel texts, reflecting the culmination of the Passion of the Lord.
