| On Friday September 17th, 10pm until 2am, young Argentinean accordionist Sergio Pinget presents his new DVD in a concert at ‘Vivo Teatro IFT’, Peña Los Cardones, Jorge Luis Borges 2180, Buenos Aires. The DVD was filmed at the same theatre on October 23rd last year, and the music includes ‘La Tempranera’, ‘Merceditas’, Argentina secreta’, ‘Kilómetro 11’, ‘El tren expreso’, ‘Libertango’, and other pieces. Originally from the city of Columbus, Sergio Pinget comes from the region of Argentina where the chamamé folk music style predominates, and he grew up playing within this genre, but has since diversified into other styles.
