| Gianni Mirizzi composed his new piece “Silent Day” during the Covid-19 lockdown. The piece was inspired by the fact that during the lockdown, he was at home on a day like many others (one of the many spent at home), punctuated by a new and strange monotony, by a succession of conflicting emotions and new habits. Gianni says “Music is pure emotion and as such, once again, I wanted to underline the moment, the fear and the loneliness of those days, to then explode in a search for strength, hope, the desire to succeed. Even when you feel alone, the only actor of a show, you must remember that there is always a soundtrack to compose, note after note.” |
