AATA  Gala Concert  and Trophy Presentation



AATA President Tania Lukic-Marx welcoming the audience and opening the Accordion Spectacular evening. Top solo category winner, the 2013 International Open Accordion Champion, was Mladen Vukmir (Serbia) and he opened up with some poplar Serbian music.
Well known performer Denis Dordevic. Mihailo Jankovic
Alanah Jones (New Zealand), winner of the 12 years and under International Solo Championship performed. Mihailo Jankovic makes the presentation to Alanah Jones.
Mihailo Jankovic presents to Emma Smith, the 12 years and under Australian Solo Champion being presented her trophy. Chenghan Liao (China), 1st = winner of the 20 years and under International Australian Solo Championship Trophy.
The contestants from Chengdu, China performing to the appreciative audience. Names are: Qiuxian Li, Chenghan Liao, Xi Wang and Jingjing Fan.
They won the International Competition for Ensemble Music.
Jiacheng Xue (China) performed next. Xue is currently living in Melbourne and had just won 2nd place in May at the Klingenthal Category VI competition in Germany for virtuoso entertainment music. Xue performed gave a tremendous performance of three peices and was then presented with the 1st = 20 years and under International Australian Solo Championship Trophy. Xue is only 15 years old.
Here Xue is pictured with his parents who have done so much with international lessons and travel to
international competitions to enable such superb international competition results from someone as young as 15 year old Jiacheng Xue.
Teodora Djukic performed some Serbian dance music. 15 years & under International Solo Champion Zhang Xin Yun (China) performed for the audience.

Popular performers: Chenghan Liao, Jingjing Fan, Qiuxian Li, Xi Wang from Chengdu, China with their International
Competition for Ensemble Music trophy.
Mihailo Jankovic and Dusko Lavrnja got the crowd up and dancing.
