It seems
as though Denmark has produced fewer accordion players than
its neighbour countries like Germany, Sweden, Norway and Poland.
The
two most famous pioneers are Ernst Borgstrom and Heimar Gellin,
who played together for a long time, especially in Northern
Europe. They were very well known, and played for several
monarchs.
Other
well known figures were Mogens
Ellegaard and Kurt Larsen. Lars Dyremase is the most famous
variety player from Denmark.
