 The Accordion Pops Orchestra (MD Al Terzo) performs in concert on Sunday afternoon September 23rd, 3pm, at Shannondell at Valley Forge, 10000 Shannondell Way, Audubon, Pennsylvania.The largest professional accordion orchestra of its kind on the US East Coast, the group consists entirely of accordions plus percussion instruments. In addition, the orchestra often accompanies guest soloists including pianists and vocal artists. The orchestra performs a repertoire of light classical, Broadway, big band and popular music. The Accordion Pops Orchestra’s origins go back to 1970, and its conductors have included Dr. Jacob Neupauer, Eugene Ettore, Daniel Desiderio, and Al Terzo.
