CathedralVideo above: This week the video clip of "Anantango" composed by Gorka Hermosa and performed by Armando Rizzo won "The Gulf of Naples Independent Film Festival", held in Naples, Italy.

Belgian accordionist Lieke Opt`Roodt has made a jigsaw puzzle of Gorka Hermosa’s piece entitled "Anantango".

"Anantango" was written in 2003 and is a sad piece about a lost love called Ana. The work was premiered at the Casa Encendida in Madrid in December 2003 and was recorded by Christine Rossi on her CD "Gorka Hermosa: Works for Accordion". Lieke chose to make a jigsaw from the piece because she loves it.

In addition the piece was performed at the St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague, Czech Republic on June 12th, 2020. This is believed to be the first time the accordion has been played in this Cathedral.

Gorka says it is an honour that his “Anantango" was chosen to be performed at the Cathedral by Ladislav Horák in a duo with well known violinist Jaroslav Svecený.
