2nd International Open Accordion Contest 2018, Trossingen - Germanyby Georg Hettmann |
 After the success of this competition last April together with the seminar and concert week of “Akkordeon Grenzenlos”, the organizers wish to continue this combined concept for 2018.The organisers, Hohner Konservatorium and Deutscher Harmonika Verband (DHV) are holding the 2nd International Open Accordion Contest and “Akkordeon Grenzenlos” from April 3rd to 6th, 2018 in Trossingen. Competition categories are: Category 1a Soloists "Classical" over 18 years Category 1b Soloists "Popular" over 18 years Category 2a Soloists "Classical" under 18 years Category 2b Soloists "Popular" under 18 Category 3 Soloists under 15 years Category 4 Soloists under 12 years Category 5a 2-6 instruments, at least 1 accordion, open age. Category 5b 2-6 instruments, at least 1 accordion, average age under 18. Category 5c 2-6 instruments, at least 1 accordion, average age of the band under 15.
