The concerts were all splendid affairs. There were strong supporting spots by Harry Hussey (picture top-right), David Price, Rosemary Wright (picture lower-right), Bert Santilly, Alan Young (picture lower-left), Sue Coppard, and The Clarinet Connection. The local accordion quintet Norvic Concordia (MD Peter Ayers) performed a fine pre-dinner concert in their own highly tasteful style. Alan Young – piano and vocals, Harry Hussey on accordion, and Geoff Cook on tenor sax played for dancing in a jazzy style, and Roy Hendrie played for Scottish dancing. Other features of the festival were workshops and a trade show.
