First International Competition for Accordionists “Vivakordeon” Results - Bulgariaby Christine Johnstone |
The First International Competition for accordionists “Vivakordeon” was held in the halls of the Bulgaria Concert Complex in Sofia from April 5th to 7th. The event, which is founded by Daniela Dikova with Bulgarian accordionist Krassimir Sterev (both from the Ardenza Foundation) was for amateur accordionists and accordionists with professional orientation up to the age of 19, to encourage all those whose dedication to the accordion is an expression of their love for music making. Competition results: 1st age group: Dimitar Peshev (1st), Yoan Tashkov (2nd), Toma Dermendzhiev (3rd) 2nd age group: Valentin Todorov (1st), Ivan Tolstoguzov (2nd) 3rd age group: Milan Lazic (1st), Aleksandar Popovic (2nd), Drago Garic (3rd) Jury members Krasimir Sterev, Konstantinos Raptis amd Branco Dzinovic awarded the Grand Prize of the “Vivakordeon” to: Milan Lazic (pictured) A “Vivapiano” gala concert was held at the Concert Hall Bulgaria in Sofia at the conclusion of the competition with a performance by special guest artist Milan Lazic. |
