  Video 1: Duo Marcotello performs Ernest Bloch composition Prayer, Marko Kassl (accordion) and Othello Liesmann (cello).Video 2: Toshio Hosokawa composition: Bird Fragments III played by Marko Kassl (accordion) and Gudula Rosa (blockflute). On November 2nd and 3rd, Marko Kassl (picture left) will perform five premiere performances of new compositions for solo accordion with ensemble at Bergerkirche Düsseldorf as part of Düsseldorf's New Music association Musik 21's festival "New Counterpoints". Accompanied by ART Ensemble NRW (picture above right) under the baton of its leader Miro Dobrowolny he will premiere the following compositions: Johannes K. Hildebrandt: Wandeln (2019) Erik Janson: Stille - fliegend durch Räume (2019) Miro Dobrowolny: Dixtuor (2019) Margareta Ferek-Petric: Seven Lovely Sins (2019) Martin Wistinghausen: Sine Verbis Loqui (2019) All compositions have been commissioned by Kunststiftung NRW.
