| Il DHV (Deutscher Harmonika-Verband e.V.) Accordion Music Prize 2024 si terrà a Ettlingen, in Germania, dal 9 al 12 maggio 2024. Il concorso è aperto a solisti, duo, musica da camera, ensemble e orchestrale in una varietà di categorie fino a 27 anni di età. Le competizioni nazionali si terranno a gennaio e febbraio 2024. La data per l'Associazione Nazionale della Renania settentrionale-Vestfalia è il 18 febbraio 2024. | Il popolare duo Foster & Allen ha annunciato che il loro tour irlandese 2023/2024 inizierà il 27 dicembre 2023 a Mullingar, in Irlanda, con concerti fino al 15 marzo 2024. Mick Foster e Tony Allen hanno festeggiato 40 anni di musica insieme nel 2015 e hanno pubblicato oltre 30 album. Vedi la locandina per i dettagli del concerto. |

| Stas Venglevski suonerà presso l'Harrington Arts Centre A World of Accordions Museum di Superior, Wisconsin, USA, il prossimo 15 ottobre alle ore 14:00. Parte del ricavato del concerto sarà destinato a sostenere il museo World of Accordions. | Video: "Cokiba" è un nuovo duo dei musicisti giapponesi Coba (fisarmonica) e Jin Oki (chitarra flamenco). Il duo sta eseguendo il loro primo singolo MV "God of Sorrow - Proserpina" dove gli strumenti "si intrecciano squisitamente per creare un suono unico". "Questo lavoro è una composizione musicale di Coba per il duo che raffigura l'amore che appare nella mitologia greca." Proserpina è il nome latino della dea greca Persefone, meglio conosciuta come la dea della primavera. Il video è stato girato sul posto: Ishikawa Nishida Kitaro Museum of Philosophy a Tsubata, Ishikawa Otemachiyokan. |

| Il XII Festival Internazionale della Fisarmonica Ferreira do Zêzere si terrà il 14 e 15 Ottobre a Lisbona, in Portogallo, in collaborazione con la Casa Regionale di Ferreira do Zêzere. Programma come segue: • 14 ottobre alle 21:30 si esibiranno i fisarmonicisti Jeremy Lafon (Francia), Gary Blair (Scozia), Tino Costa (Algarve), Rodrigo Mauricio (Lourinhã), Theresa Mauricio (Lourinhã), Julius Vitorino (Ferreira do Zêzere), Rodrigo Gomes (Ferreira do Zêzere) e Marcio Cabral (Ferreira do Zêzere). • 14 ottobre alle 15:00 - Masterclass di fisarmonica, con i partecipanti al festival internazionale Gary Blair e Jeremy Lafon, presso il Centro Collettivo dell'Academia Artistica do Zêzere a Ferreira do Zêzere.  Finnish accordionist/composer Kalle Välimaa has just completed a one year long concert series of music by Johann Sebastian Bach in southern Finland, by playing one, two hour concert of his music every month. The series, entitled 24h Bach, was held from October 9th, 2022 to September 10th, 2023. Concerts took place in churches in Teijo, Turku, Hyvinkää, Kerava, Orimattila, Kouvola, Turenki, Mommila, Artjärvi, Tammela, Virolahti and Ruotsinpyhtää. Performances featured works such as The Well-Tempered Clavier, English, French, German (Partitas) Suites, Goldberg Variations, Inventions and Sinfonias, 16 Concertos, Cello Suites, Violin solo Sonatas and Partitas, some organ works and Chorals from the Four Passions. Kalle Välimaa was a pupil with accordionist Veikko Ahvenainen (1975-1980) and Kimmo Mattila (1980-1985). In Moscow at the Gnesin Academy Kalle Välimaa was a student of Vitaly Muntjan (1985-1991) and Friedrich Lips (1991-1992). For the polyphonic development, Kalle studied orchestral conducting with professor Vladimir Zenovjev (1986-1992). |
