Prima mondiale della Sonata No. 3 di Viatcheslav Semionov, Mosca - Russiaby Yulia Amerikova |
 Video sopra: Estratto dal 3° movimento eseguito da Yuri Shishkin.Il 21 novembre si è tenuta la prima mondiale della tanto attesa Sonata No. 3 "Reminiscence of the Future" per fisarmonica solista composta da Viatcheslav Semionov ( foto a sinistra ). La prima mondiale si è tenuta presso la Grande Sala Concerti della Moscow House of Composers, ed è stata parte del XXXV Festival Internazionale di Musica Contemporanea "Moscow Autumn". La sonata No. 3 è composta da 3 movimenti ( Moderato, Andantino, Maestoso con Moto ). La canzone sentimentale del 2° movimento è incorniciata da un primo movimento pieno di dramma e intensità di sviluppo e un terzo movimento di multistrati di contrastante collage stilistico. Nel 3° movimento, Viatcheslav Semionov ha utilizzato la citazione crittografata da Heinrich Heine: " se l'amore vive nelle nostre anime - siamo eterni ... ". La premiere è stata superbamente eseguita da uno dei più grandi allievi di Viatcheslav Semionov, un musicista eccezionale che ha ricevuto il plauso internazionale, Onorato Artista della Russia, Yuri Shishkin (foto in basso a sinistra ). La prima esecuzione della Sonata No. 3 è stata un enorme successo. Il pubblico entusiasta ( era pieno concerto casa ) non ha permesso che il compositore e il musicista lasciassero il palco. Questa anteprima è un evento significativo nel mondo della fisarmonica arte e un altro contributo significativo da questo famoso compositore. La seconda performance della Sonata No. 3 sarà ascoltata, 11 dicembre al concerto dei 50 anni di anniversario di Yuri Shishkin, essendo parte del Festival internazionale "Bayan e Bayanists" a Mosca.  Video 1 sopra: il nuovo disco di Zoltan Orosz diventa CD dorato il 3 luglio 2013.Video 2 sopra: Tico Tico pubblicato 19 novembre 2013. Il fisarmonicista ungherese Zoltan Orosz ha eseguito concerti presso il Khalsa College, una scuola pubblica, e presso l'Accademia di Belle Arti indiana, in Amtrizar. I concerti sono stati organizzati dall'Ambasciata ungherese, come parte di uno scambio culturale e un programma di melodie popolari ungheresi e russe e musica orientale di Zoltan che è stato molto apprezzato. Zoltan Orosz ha iniziato a suonare la fisarmonica all'età di 4 anni, e a 11 ha frequentato la Scuola Secondaria di Musica Bartók Béla di Budapest, seguita da studi presso la Liszt Ferenc TeacherTraining University.  La Schola Cantorum, forse la più grande scuola di musica privata in Francia, è una sorta di equivalente francese della Juilliard School, USA. E 'stata fondata nel 1890 da famosi musicisti francesi di quel tempo tra i quali vi era anche Vincent d' Indy.I nomi di alcune di studenti, di cui molti sono diventati insegnanti della Schola Cantorum includono: Issac Albeniz, Georges Auric, Alfred Cortot, Maurice Durufflé, Alexandre Lagoya, Lily Laskine, Olivier Messiaen, Darius Milhaud, Cole Porter, Eric Satie, Edgar Varèse, Serge Gainsbourg, ... Stando constantemente a contatto con la fisarmonica e godendo di un posto più grande sui palcoscenici e le trasmissioni del mondo, nella musica leggera, folk, musica classica e contemporanea, Michel Denis, direttore della Schola Cantorum, ha deciso di creare una classe di fisarmonica per tutti gli stili. Michel Denis chiese a Jacques Mornet e Nathalie Boucheix, i fondatori della celebre scuola di fisarmonica CNIMA, e ora Jacques e Nathalie condivideranno il loro tempo tra la zona Auvergne Natural Volcanoes Park e la capitale francese. | Lo show radiofonico scozzese largamente popolare della BBC 'Take the Floor ' ospiterà due registrazioni speciali nel dicembre 2013. La prima è di Domenica 1 dicembre, 15:00, presso la Dunecht Village Hall. Questo è il villaggio natale del presentatore Robbie Sheperd e per celebrare il suo contributo alla musica scozzese ci sarà un Variety Style Show. L'evento sarà condotto dal fisarmonicista Iain Cathcart e la sua Scottish Dance Band. Ci saranno anche il duo violino/fisarmonica Gemma Donald e Gordon Pattullo e Darren MacLean ( foto sotto ).  Amerian concert accordionist Mary Tokarski has released a new Christmas CD just in time for the Holiday Season. Mary invites listeners to enjoy her idea of Christmas music, as she explains her choice of pieces."March of the Toys and Parade of the Wooden Soldiers were childhood “favorites” of mine. On Thin Ice and Slippery Slope are representative of Connecticut winters (Can you imagine Santa Claus arriving on the ice, and sliding down that snowy, slippery slope?) What better way to enjoy the holidays than going over to the Shopping Center – everyone’s favorite pastime during the Christmas season. Moon River is from one of my favorite movies “Breakfast At Tiffany’s”, while Chopin’s Polonaise in A Major brings visions of grandeur to celebratory events and church services. | The London-based Morley Accordion Orchestra (MD Ian Watson) recently released a CD, 'Europa', and this has now been released on iTunes, via Amazon, and lots of other online shops. This second album was recorded live in London, and is named after Jason Carr's 'Europa', which received its premiere performance in the concert. A whistle stop tour around Europe, from scary Moscow to sleepy Madrid to jazzy Rome, this performance is full of surprises and real quality playing. Also featured on the album is '2012', an Olympic inspired piece written for the orchestra by its conductor, Ian Watson. Morley Accordion Orchestra, formed in 1999, meets at Morley College, 61 Westminster Bridge Rd, London SE1 7HT. The MAO plays a wide variety of music - from original works for accordion orchestra to show tunes and film scores. There are now 30 members of the orchestra and for concerts are joined by percussionists. In May 2013 MAO performed at the World Music Festival in Innsbruck, Austria. Future plans include a Christmas Concert at the Lost Theatre, London, on December 8th at 3pm and the release of their 2nd album, ‘Europa’.  An ‘Accordion Play In’ – an all-day orchestra event - takes place at the Academy of Music Drama and Dance in Deinze, Belgium, on Saturday November 30th, from 9am. The conductors are Matthias Lens and Emmy Gysels, and the event concludes with an evening concert featuring all the music practised during the day, and there will be performances by the West Flemish Accordion Orchestra, conducted by Rik Rabaey, and the Royal Accordion Club ‘The Harmonikavrienden’, conducted by Matthias Lens.  The National Yiddish Theatre, ‘Folksbiene’, presents a remarkable concert event celebrating the folk legend and actor Theodore Bikel in anticipation of his 90th birthday in May 2014. ‘Miracle of Miracles: A Chanukah Extravaganza’ takes place at Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway, New York, on Monday December 2nd, 7.30pm. Featured in the all-star cast are the beloved Emmy-winning actor Fyvush Finkel, klezmer giant Frank London, the Russian concert phenomenon Psoy Korolenko and the Broadway actors Joanne Borts (‘Once’) and Elmore James, among many others. Accordionist Lauren Brody will be in the orchestra. Theodore Bikel, the Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning actor, folk singer and political activist, will make a special appearance supported by the Frank London-led Folksbiene Klezmorim Orchestra. Vienna-born Bikel earned a best supporting actor Oscar nomination in 1958 for ‘The Defiant Ones’. He had major roles in ‘The Blue Angel’, ‘My Fair Lady’, and ‘The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming’. He also created the role of Baron von Trapp in the original production of ‘A Sound of Music’ on Broadway. He has played Tevye in ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ over 2000 times on Broadway and elsewhere, beginning in 1967. A world-renowned folk singer, social activist and spokesman for liberal Jewish causes, he also was a former president of Actors’ Equity. |

Over the years Galliano has worked and recorded with Juliette Greco, Charles Aznavour, Chet Baker, Bireli Lagrene, Wynton Marsalis, Toots Thielmans, and many more. | Stockport Accordion Club’s annual concert in aid of the East Cheshire Hospice takes place at the Broken Cross Club, Macclesfield, Cheshire SK11 8TU on Friday December 6th, 7.45pm. The Stockport AC Band (MD Derek Stubbs) will be performing, and club President Pearl Fawcett-Adriano and Vice President Walter Perrie will both do cabaret spots. Last year’s concert raised a record £1,400. The organizer is SAC member John Jones MBE. On Saturday December 7th, 11am for one hour, Stockport AC members will be playing Christmas music at The Lowry Shopping Mall, Salford, in aid of The Christie. There will be live music all day in this fund raising effort, and Stockport AC are first on, regaling the shoppers with the sound of accordions.
