  La Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) è stata costituita nel 1935 e 85 anni dopo nel 2020 conta 43 membri, molti dei quali sono organizzazioni nazionali di fisarmonica.Per la prima volta in assoluto, a causa delle restrizioni di viaggio del Covid-19, la CIA terrà un Congresso utilizzando internet sabato sera, orario dell'Europa centrale. Il Congresso guidato dal Presidente Mirco Patarini e dal Segretario Generale Kimmo Mattila discuterà degli entusiasmanti concerti e di altri programmi per la Coupe Mondiale 2021 a Monaco, dal 13 al 17 ottobre 2021. L'organizzatore ospitante Deutscher Harmonika-Verband e. V., (DHV), delegato Georg Hettmann (foto a destra), riferirà i loro piani al Congresso. Il regolamento della Coupe Mondiale 2021, i dettagli di viaggio e alloggio saranno pubblicati prima di Natale. Al Congresso si discuterà anche dei piani per un'altra innovativa Giornata mondiale della fisarmonica (6 maggio) con vari eventi in tutto il mondo e un importante programma internazionale online pianificato dai membri della CIA in diversi paesi. Un report completo del Congresso e dei piani futuri per il 2021 sarà pubblicato qui venerdì prossimo. |

| Video: Aidar Salakhov esegue Inverno, 1° Movimento, dalle Quattro Stagioni di Vivaldi "Libertango" si esibirà al concerto della Giornata Internazionale del Tango il 4 dicembre 2020. Il concerto giubilare di quest'anno si terrà presso la Kino Concert Hall di Yaroslavl, Russia. "Libertango" include Aidar Salakhov (fisarmonica), Angelica Markova (voce), Artyoom Fedotov (batteria), Rinat Safargaliev (basso), Ilya Ershov (violino) e Oleg Anokhin (tastiere, arrangiamenti e direttore del gruppo). Il loro programma includerà musiche di Astor Piazzolla, una prima di nuovi lavori, un nuovo arrangiamento della nota composizione Libertango con il solista Aidar Salahov e danzatori. Aidar Salakhov è un ex studente della Gnesins Russian Academy of Music di Mosca e ha studiato con il Prof. Friedrich Lips.  È con grande delusione che, a causa dell'attuale situazione relativa alla pandemia mondiale (Covid 19), il Comitato Esecutivo e il Consiglio di Amministrazione dell'AAA hanno preso la necessaria decisione di annullare il Festival AAA dal 14 al 18 luglio 2021 a West Philadelphia.Ci impegniamo per la sicurezza pubblica, compresa quella dei nostri numerosi fedeli partecipanti, ospiti e artisti, e per aiutare a sostenere i forti sforzi della nostra nazione per aiutare a controllare la diffusione del COVID-19, ci uniamo a una lunga lista di eventi che sono già stati cancellati. Sebbene la pandemia abbia cambiato le nostre vite in tanti modi, troviamo sempre un lato positivo. Cercate le nuove iniziative digitali di AAA attraverso lezioni online, seminari, concorsi di concerti e la cerimonia/concerto AAA Lifetime Achievement Award in onore di Linda Solely Reed.  Kevin Friedrich, fisarmonicista nato a Dargaville, residente a New York, ha attirato per la seconda volta in quattro mesi un pubblico numeroso presso il Lighthouse Function Center del Dargaville Museum, questa volta presentando il concerto "The Sounds of the Season" con una varietà di festosa musica natalizia.Report completo e immagini: 2020DargavilleSounds Tutti i proventi del concerto sono stati orgogliosamente donati al Museo Dargaville. Il concerto ha visto esibizioni di Wendy Dunn, Jone Yelcich, Take 6, Linda Emmett Litt, Lionel Reekie, Rivertown Singers, Roslyn Gilmour, Alanah Jones, Mike Durney, Adrian Humm, Brenda Polwart, Nolene Osbaldiston, Lynn Walters, Sue Marmont, Mike England e Maurice Jones così come alcuni atti della pantomima che offrono un elemento comico spensierato. Il concerto Finale ha visto le apparizioni di alcuni dei più famosi personaggi delle vacanze tra cui Rudolph la renna dal naso rosso, Frosty il pupazzo di neve e lo stesso Babbo Natale, ed è terminato cantando tutti insieme le più popolari canzoni natalizie. Oltre a questo secondo concerto di Natale, Kevin ha presentato concerti annuali di raccolta fondi ogni marzo con il 14° concerto annuale che si terrà il 28 marzo 2021.  Karen Tweed is running online workshops every fortnight, which she began on November 13th, 2020. The workshops cover lyricism, bellows and techniques to make tunes sing. Karen explores ideas using the tunes: 'O Sole Mio' and Gilles Chabenat's 'Baudimic'. Participants will receive additional notes after the workshop. | French accordionist and composer, Yvette Horner (1922 to 2018) performs live "Les Triolets" accompanied by the Raymond Lefevre Orchestra on French Television in 1956. She was known for performing with the Tour de France during the 1950s and 1960s.   Organisers of the 2021 Northern Ireland Open Accordion Championships regret to announce that the event, which was due to be held in February 2021 has been cancelled due to uncertainties arising from the Covid-19 pandemic.For 2022, the venue, Loughshore Hotel Carrickfergus, has been provisionally booked for 26th February, 2022. Clyde Johnston (picture right) thanks you all for your support and understanding and hopefully the event will be back bigger and stronger in 2022. |

The first is the Certificate course “Styrian Harmonica” with Alexander Maurer (picture left) which is due to begin on November 28th.The second is an online course “Arranging and Music Editing” with Hans-Günther Kölz which starts on December 7th.  The Milwaukee Accordion Club regret to announce that due to the still increasing spread of the COVID-19 virus in Wisconsin, the Board has voted to terminate all indoor meetings until the epidemic subsides, or until members get vaccinated against this virus.They have made this decision with regard to the safety of all members and hope to be able to resume as soon as possible in the New Year. |

Skerryvore (which includes brothers Daniel on accordion and Martin Gillespie on pipes, whistles and accordion) will appear on the weekly online show Friday Night Lockdown Live with Alec on November 27th at 7pm (November 28th 9am UTC+13). The event will include the first exclusive live performance of the new single by the band entitled “You and I”.
