 Che cosa state facendo per la Giornata Mondiale della Fisarmonica (World Accordion Day) per promuovere la fisarmonica nel vostro paese?La giornata mondiale della fisarmonica (World Accordion Day) è il 6 maggio, giorno in cui la fisarmonica fu brevettata nel 1829. La Giornata mondiale della fisarmonica è una iniziativa nata nel 2009, ha avuto un grande, generando grande pubblicità positiva per la fisarmonica. Una parte fondamentale di questo evento il sito web dell’ Accrordion Day (World Accordion Day). Ogni associazione, gruppo, orchestra, musicista e insegnante, è invitato a sostenere attivamente a questo evento, favorendo le attività di fisarmonica nazionali e locali programmate in questo giorno o nei week end vicini. Tutti possono registrare le proprie attività per la Giornata Mondiale della fisarmonica sul sito e successivamente inviare una relazione della loro manifestazione. Questo sito è già una grande risorsa per la comunicazione della Giornata Mondiale di fisarmonica. Il presidente della Cia ha dichiarato Raymond Bodell (CIA President Raymond Bodell) Nessun evento è troppo grande o troppo piccolo. Tutti gli eventi fisarmonistici sono i benvenuti. Questa è una promozione per la fisarmonica a cui ogni fisarmonicista o appassionato può partecipare e contribuire a promuovere la fisarmonica in ogni parte del mondo.Pertanto, vi esorto a tornare al vostro paese dopo la Coupe Mondiale e sostenere ed incoraggiare a tutti I livelli questo entusiasmante nuovo progetto. |

 Il duo di Aranitza Agirre (fisarmonica) e Ana Ledn (clarinetto) ha vinto il XIII "Pedro Bote" Concorso internazionale di giovani artisti, che si è svolto la scorsa settimana nella Culture House di Villafranca dei Barros, Extremadura, Spagna.Il premio consiste in 8000,00 euro e un tour di sei concerti al Palau De les Arts Reina Sofia, Valencia, Auditorio Conde Duque a Madrid, Festival internazionale di Segovia, Festival di Albeniz a Camprodon, Musical Youth di Spagna e al festival del Cinema e Teatro a Villafranca. Al concorso hanno partecipato 83 artisti, La giuria ha selezionato 25 gruppi dei quali 8 per la semifinale e 3 per la finale. Dalla data del loro debutto in Finlandia, nel 2008, il duo di Arantza Agirre (fisarmonica) e Ana Leon (clarinetto) hanno vinto i seguenti premi: Primo premio al XVI Podiums Chamber Music (categoria A) di Sant Joan di Vilatorrada (2008) Primo premio nel Ninth Chamber Music Competition Rotary-Sardinero di Santander (2009) Secondo premio nel Primer Palau 2009 a Barcellona Secondo premio nel XI Chamber Music Competiotion "Ciutat de Vinaròs" (2009) Primo premio in 25 Premi Ciutat de Manresa Music (2010) |

 La CIA ha consegnato il suo secondo annuale "Premio per la migliore nuova ed originale composizione" alla Coupe Mondiale in Ottobre. Il premio fu creato dal Comitato Musicale della CIA per promuovere nuove composizioni di concerto per fisarmoniche, dopo la discontinuità del Test Piece (pezzo testo) richiesto per la competizione della Coupe Mondiale.La giuria ha selezionato "Haiti", un assolo composto da Franck Angelis (Francia) ed eseguito da Nataela Teixeira (Portogallo) appositamente per il premio. Franck Angelis ha ora realizzato "haiti" catalogo no: ang561 su MusicForAccordion.com, dove si possono visionare dei campioni di ciascun movimento del lavoro, vedere video clips e ordinare tramite carta di credito. Il "Premio per la migliore nuova ed originale composizione" è aperto a tutti i nuovi lavori da solista, composti nel 2009-2010 ed eseguiti nel 2010 nel programma della Coupe Mondiale. Per avere accesso alla competizione, la musica non deve essere stata eseguita prima della Coupe Mondiale. Quest'anno quattro composizioni sono state presentate per concorrere al premio. | Pubblico entusiasmato e notevoli apprezzamenti per le performance tenuti da Antonio Spaccarotella e Mirco Patarini durante i concerti serali del II Festival Internazionale da Sanfona svolto a Bahia Brasile dall’otto al 14 novembre. In questa seconda edizione del festival ritenuto il più importante evento fisarmonicistico brasiliano, hanno preso parte fra i più noti fisarmonicisti del brasile e del mondo. Fra gli artisti : Renato Borghetti, Mirco Patarini, Oswaldinho, Frank Marocco, Antonio Spaccarotella, Hermeto Pascoal, Targino Gondim, Dominguinhos. I concerti Itineranti hanno fatto tappa a Juazeiro e Petrolina due fantastiche città della regione di Bahia, durante i diversi concerti una risposta del pubblico straordinaria , oltre 3000 persone ad ascoltare Jazz, Classico, Moderno, Pop, Tango. Alla conclusione pervengono gli elogi e le congratulazioni per i due italiani da parte del direttore artistico del Festival, e da tutto lo staff organizzativo compiaciuto delle performance dei due artisti italiani. Mirco Patarini, Già noto per l’eccellente repertorio di fisarmonica colta, ha all’attivo numerosi festival e stagioni concertistiche in brasile, dove si esibisce già da diversi anni, e dove si meritato una distinta reputazione ritagliandosi una importante notorietà in tutto il Brasile. Antonio Spaccarotella ha esordito per la prima volta in brasile, ma già dal primo concerto ha riscosso notevoli apprezzamenti dal folto pubblico giunto in occasione del festival, Antonio ha chiuso il suo concerto con una sua nuova composizione dal nome SAUDADE TANGO che ha scritto in onore del festival e che ha composto durante la sua permanenza in brasile. |

 Below is another delve into the Accordions Worldwide news archives, this time for the week ending November 29th 1996...VIVAT ACCORDION! CONTINUED SUCCESS, MOSCOW - RUSSIA Contributed by Valentina Bobisheva and Tatiana Lanchtchikova Russian ensemble "Vivat, Accordion!" is made up of approximately 12 students from the Moscow Music College, and it includes various instruments, such as accordion, guitar and percussion. The ensemble was founded in 1991 by Valentina Bobisheva, when they were invited to take part in an International Accordion Competition that year, held in Italy, which they won. After the competition they performed many successful concerts in other Italian cities, and later that year they made an appearance on Russian TV on a very famous programme "Musical Shop". Since then, "Vivat, Accordion!" have been very busy. They have had many concerts in the prestigious concert halls of Moscow, such as the Concert Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Column Hall of Unit House and the Concert Hall of Moscow Philharmonic. In 1994 the ensemble participated in the International Accordion Festival "Russian Traditions", which was held in Twente, Holland. They impressed the committee so much that they were presented with a Yamaha grand piano, which is now at Moscow Music College. On 22nd November, "Vivat, Accordion!" held a concert in the Concert Hall of the Moscow Music College, which combined both students and their teachers. The ensemble played compositions by Beethoven, Sarasate, Shostakovich, Bize/Schedrin, Sen-Sans and Verter. Most of these compositions were arranged by their conductor Valentina Bobisheva. They also accompanied Russian musicians Alexander Tzigankov (a domra player), who performed his own composition, a Russian folk song "Perevoz Dunya Derzhala" and Vadim Chebanov (guitar player) who played "Concerto" by Rodrigo. Their next concert "Christmas Evenings" will be 20 December 1996 in the Concert Hall of Moscow Music College. |

 The annual Warsaw Caledonian Society’s Caledonian Ball takes place on November 27th at the Marriott Hotel, Warsaw, to the music of the duo accordionist David Vernon -accordion (Scotland) and Dick Lee - clarinet (England).Many Scots have moved to Poland over the years, and the Caledonian Society in Warsaw is one of the largest in the world.  Oleg Sharov, from St Petersburg, Russia, will be touring the UK, from Saturday October 15th until Saturday October 29th 2011, and accordion clubs interested in booking him should contact the tour organizer contact Ron Bennett. Oleg Sharov’s visit will include a guest appearance at the Eastbourne Accordion Festival, October 21st to 24th. Oleg Sharov, born in 1946, ‘Honored Artist of the Russian Republic’, is currently Senior Professor of Music and Head of the Accordion Department at the Conservatory in St Petersburg. His concert repertoire includes music from Baroque to Avantgarde. Oleg Sharov is regarded by his peers as one of the most accomplished 'Free Bass' accordionists.
