| Il concorso internazionale Grand Prix "Golden Talents" per fisarmonica e bayan si terrà dal 10 al 13 dicembre 2020 a Kursk, in Russia. La competizione si svolgerà in tre fasi: Fase 1: qualificazione con registrazione video dal 1° al 10 novembre 2020. La durata totale del programma è compresa tra 10 e 15 minuti. Fase 2 e 3 - una competizione a due turni dal 10 al 13 dicembre 2020. La durata totale del programma è di 15-25 minuti. Il 13 dicembre si terrà un concerto di gala che includerà esibizioni dei vincitori del concorso. Le iscrizioni al concorso si chiudono il 31 ottobre 2020.  Vince Abbracciante (fisarmonica) e Andrea Sabatino (tromba) terranno un concerto dal titolo "Melodico" presso il cortile all'aperto di Palazzo Pesce (foto sotto) a Mola di Bari (BA) il 29 agosto alle 21:00.Questi due musicisti forniranno un programma originale da Kramer a Tenco, da Trovajoli a Bruno Martino, oltre al jazz creativo e moderno di Andrea Sabatino. Vince Abbracciante è laureato in fisarmonica classica con lode presso il Conservatorio di Matera e si è esibito in cinque continenti insieme a molti musicisti di prestigio.   Il 23° seminario Accordion Days Rheinsberg 2021 si svolgerà presso l'Accademia Musicale del Kavalierhaus Schlossanlage a Rheinsberg, in Germania, dal 12 al 14 febbraio 2021, organizzato dal DHV (Deutscher Harmonika-Verband e.V.).Per la 23° volta, il DHV invita fisarmonicisti giovani e adulti (studenti, insegnanti, musicisti e direttori d'orchestra) a suonare insieme e ad imparare l'uno dall'altro per tre giorni. I partecipanti al seminario avranno l'opportunità di lavorare come solisti, nella musica da camera e con orchestre. L'evento del 2021 può anche essere utilizzato per prepararsi alle prossime competizioni e al concorso per "Accordion Music Prize 2021". I docenti del seminario includono Lars Holm (corso di musica da solista e da camera), Hans-Günther Kölz (corso per orchestra - foto in alto a destra) e Sabine Kölz per il seminario "Ran an Tasten & Knöpfe".  "La sezione ritmica più nitida del mondo!!!"Il canale televisivo irlandese TG4 ha visto il fisarmonicista Nigel Black suonare la sua fisarmonica insieme al suo tosaerba Suffolk Punch nel programma Hector Anseo questa settimana. Il programma includeva un'intervista con Nigel (che viene da Ballymena, nella contea di Antrim nell'Irlanda del Nord) e video di lui che suonava un paio di brani con il suo tosaerba! Il vecchio tosaerba verde non ha mai perso un colpo! |

  Michael Bridge is delighted to announce his new collaboration with “Concerts in Care”, Canada’s national network presenting classical music in retirement homes. Michael is among a small group of musicians producing concert videos for national distribution to senior citizens caught in lockdowns across the country. | Despite the fact the Stockport Accordion Club meeting venue, Woodley Methodist Church is still closed due to Covid19, club members have been holding Zoom internet meetings on Wednesday evenings each week. This gives members the opportunity to keep in touch, swap news, have plenty of laughs, play solos, and even have a short band practice. Thank goodness for technology! Last week’s pieces were the Amboss Polka, Metsakukkia (a waltz from Finland), and Besame Mucho. Players are looking forward to when restrictions are lifted and they can all meet again in person! |

| Kevin Friedrich and the Dargaville Museum have organised a free concert entitled “Mid Winter Melodies” at the Lighthouse Function Centre in Harding park, Dargaville on July 12th. New Zealand is open again following their Covid-19 lockdown and this concert is being held to thank essential service workers and the Dargaville community residents for uniting together during the lockdown. Kevin will entertain at the event as well as other popular entertainers Jone Yelcich, Roslyn Gilmour, Lynn Walters, Thomas Koloi and the Rivertown Singers & Take Six. |

 Omac President Yves Macé, has announced they are currently preparing shows for the 2020-2021 Thury-Harcourt season, taking into account new health standards related to the Covid-19 outbreak. “The show season will resume at the beginning of October, even if the threat still looms," he said.The first event will be concerts at the Calvados Tour in Normandy, France by the Louise Jallu Quartet from October 8th to 10th, 2020. The quartet, which includes Louise Jallu (bandoneon – picture left), Mathias Lévy (violin), Grégoire Letouvet (piano) and Alexandre Perrot (double bass), play a mix of Argentine jazz tango.
