 Guarda la gallery fotografica: XVIDaniHarmonikePer la 16a volta la scuola di musica “Kornelije Stankovic” ha organizzato il tradizionale festival “Dani Harmonike” a Bijeljina/Ugljevik, Bosnia ed Erzegovina. Oltre a concerti e masterclass, si sono svolti concorsi per solisti, formazioni da camera e orchestre, giudicati da una giuria internazionale di esperti composta da rinomati e comprovati educatori musicali ed esecutori provenienti da diversi paesi. Grazie all'eccellente organizzazione, agli alti criteri di valutazione e agli ottimi ospiti, il festival ha ormai guadagnato un'ottima reputazione secondo molti importanti critici musicali. Quest'anno si sono incontrati circa 120 giovani fisarmonicisti provenienti da 15 paesi (per la prima volta anche un candidato cinese!) che hanno dato il meglio di sé in 11 categorie solistiche, cinque di intrattenimento, tre di musica da camera e due orchestrali. Molti partecipanti hanno sorpreso la giuria internazionale con le loro esibizioni molto mature, anche in giovane età. La novità di quest'anno è che la categoria solista più alta, “Accordion Euro Coupe”, si è svolta in due turni, il che ha ulteriormente aumentato il livello e la varietà delle esibizioni. Mentre lo svedese Leo Florin Muravjov, allievo della classe di Friedrich Lips all'Accademia Gnesin di Mosca, era in una classe a parte nella categoria classica, l'italiano Emanuele Viti ha conquistato in modo convincente il primo posto nella musica leggera. Dal punto di vista austriaco, i risultati di Marko Maletic di Graz sono stati molto soddisfacenti, poiché ha vinto nella sua categoria di musica leggera e rappresenterà l'Austria al concorso internazionale CIA Coupe Mondiale a Castelfidardo (Italia) in autunno. Quest'anno i concerti serali sono stati eseguiti da Emanuele Viti (Italia), Leo Florin (Svezia), Luca Bello (Italia), Chenxin Yu (Cina), Djordje Peric e Nemanja Kalajdžic. Hazim Mehmedic (BIH) ha ottenuto il maggior numero di punti tra tutti i partecipanti al festival lo scorso anno ed è stato quindi invitato come solista ospite. La star assoluta del festival è stato Yuri Shishkin dalla Russia, che ha impressionato molto il pubblico con le sue eccezionali interpretazioni di opere di epoche diverse e ha suscitato in loro una vera e propria tempesta di entusiasmo. Ancora una volta Slavisa Peric, in qualità di organizzatore, ha reso possibile la 16a edizione di “Dani Harmonike”. Il prossimo “Akkordeonfest” è previsto a Graz (Austria) all'inizio di dicembre. | Fabio Furia parteciperà al 72° Festival di Lubiana (che si terrà in Slovenia) presentando una masterclass di bandoneon dal 25 al 29 luglio 2024. Il corso sarà aperto a fisarmonicisti o ensemble che desiderino approfondire la pratica esecutiva specifica del tango. Ogni estate il Festival di Lubiana dà un importante contributo alla vita culturale di Lubiana con un programma accuratamente selezionato che copre un'ampia varietà di generi, tra cui balletto, opera e produzioni teatrali, musical, concerti da camera e sinfonici, la Colonia Internazionale d'Arte, masterclass, laboratori per bambini e giovani, il Festival di Lubiana sul fiume Ljubljanica e molto altro ancora.  Il 10 e 11 maggio 2024 si terrà a Powell River, nella Columbia Britannica, in Canada, la terza edizione del Qathet Accordion Fest (precedentemente noto come Powell River Accordion Fest).L'evento prevede una serie di concerti, una masterclass di fisarmonica con l’ospite Jelena Milojevic, esibizioni di orchestra, un concerto di apertura (con ospiti musicali speciali provenienti da Vancouver, Roberts Creek e dall'isola di Vancouver) e un nuovissimo cabaret di fisarmonica. | Come contribuisci alla Giornata Mondiale della Fisarmonica per promuovere la fisarmonica nel tuo paese? La giornata mondiale della fisarmonica è il 6 maggio, che è il giorno in cui la fisarmonica è stata brevettata nel 1829. Il World Accordion Day è stato avviato nel 2009 dalla CIA e ha avuto molto successo, generando molta pubblicità positiva per la fisarmonica. Una parte fondamentale di questo evento è il sito web del World Accordion Day. Ogni associazione, gruppo, orchestra, performer e insegnante, è invitata a sostenere attivamente questo evento incoraggiando le attività nazionali e locali della fisarmonica che si terranno nel loro paese in quel giorno o nel weekend del giorno della fisarmonica, se ciò dovesse essere più conveniente. Tutti possono registrare la loro attività per la Giornata Mondiale della Fisarmonica sul sito Web e inviare un report sul loro evento dopo, per quel sito Web. Nessun evento è troppo grande o troppo piccolo. TUTTI gli eventi della fisarmonica che celebrano la Giornata Mondiale della Fisarmonica sono i benvenuti.  Grayson Masefield (foto a sinistra) si esibirà in un concerto dal titolo "Music for our Mothers" l'11 maggio 2024. Grayson Masefield dedica questa performance alla Giornata Mondiale della Fisarmonica (WAD).North Shore Brass è una rinomata banda di ottoni con sede a Takapuna, sulla North Shore di Auckland, con un'Accademia di oltre 110 musicisti. Ci saranno brani solistici di Grayson e un'esibizione con i North Shore Brass diretti da Harmen Vanhoorne. Il concerto, che si terrà presso il North Harbour Lounge, North Harbour Stadium di Albany, Auckland, Nuova Zelanda, vedrà anche la partecipazione dell'emergente North Shore Brass Academy Band diretta da Billy Middleton ad aprire l'evento. Questo concerto di cabaret promette musica da tutto il mondo per celebrare le nostre madri. |

| Our current accordion teacher is moving on at the end of this term and therefore we need to recruit a new accordion teacher to begin work in September 2024. We have a number of options and have flexibility in how we recruit: 1) If a candidate is interested in accordion teaching only, we can offer a part time job on an hourly rate. 2) If a candidate can do accordion teaching and another instrument (i.e. piano or organ) we can offer increased hours. 3) If a candidate can do accordion teaching and is willing to do some whole class melodica teaching we can offer increased hours, including up to full time employment. They need to be able to teach classical button accordion (c-system) and piano accordion, have a strong interest in education, and experience of working with children. We will also consider EU or international applications for a full time role. The closing date for applications is Monday 13th May 2024, at 12 noon. | Stéphanie Rodriguez will entertain at The Dansant L’Air du Temps in Saint-Christophe-sur-Dolaison, Haute-Loire Department, France on May 5th, 2024. Stéphanie has been playing the accordion since she was eight years old and has appeared on TV 8 Mont Blanc and BFM TV television. On the occasion of the Fête de la Musique, she was selected by TF1 to represent the accordion on Jean Pierre Pernaut's 13 o'clock newscast, playing in front of more than 5.9 million viewers.  The Saarland Accordion Association will hold an Accordion Course at the Saarland State Academy for Musical and Cultural Education in Ottweiler, Grmany from May 8th to 12th, 2024.The course is aimed at accordion students from the age of eight and will include one-to-one lessons which will work with the participants on prepared pieces and promote their playing skills individually. In addition, the interaction is to be further developed through experimental projects, such as film music or improvisation groups. Supervision during the entire seminar will be provided by the Saarland Accordion Association. Lecturers are Stephan Bahr, Kerstin Bludau-Weitzel and Marius Staible.
