 L'inaugurazione di ‘Accordions Viseur', una piccolo ma altamente specializzato negozio di fisarmoniche, si terrà il 30 gennaio. I visitatori sono i benvenuti dalle 10 alle 18, per partecipare alla giornata ufficiale di apertura. I visitatori si aspettino qualche sorpresa, una calda accoglienza e tante storie sulla fisarmonica da raccontare! 'Accordeons Viseur' si trova sulla Sauvegardestraat 17, 2870-Puurs, Ruisbroek, Belgio - nei pressi della A12 tra Anversa e Bruxelles. Il negozio, fondato nel maggio 2003, è sempre in costante crescita e miglioramento. Nel corso degli anni si è costruito una buona reputazione in Belgio, ed è orgoglioso di avere clienti provenienti anche da più lontano. Il proprietario, Iwein Jacobs, è fisarmonicista egli stesso e può riparare ed accordare fisarmoniche nel suo laboratorio o dare consigli a chiunque abbia bisogno di aiuto per la scelta dello strumento adatto. I clienti possono anche trovare accessori di qualità, come cinghie, borse, astucci, amplificazione, midi, ecc. 'Accordeons Viseur' ha costruito un bel rapporto con la vivace gente belga, ed ha un esperienza unica (per il Belgio), nell’accordatura, nella riparazione e nella vendita di fisarmoniche diatoniche. Per i suonatori di armonica, Accodrion Viseur' è dal 2003 rappresentante di 'C. A. Seydel'. | Il Festival internazionale della fisarmonica di Castelfidardo si svolgerà dal 5 al 10 ottobre 2010 con un calendario ricco di coinvolgenti appuntamenti musicali. La formula del FIF riproporrà il Gran Galà di Apertura (5 ottobre 2010) , Serate in Teatro, Eventi a tema, Music Reality Show, Baby Music Club, Conferenze e Masterclass d’eccellenza. Il cuore della manifestazione sarà la 35esima edizione del Premio e Concorso per solisti e complessi di fisarmonica che nel 2009 ha registrato un notevole incremento di iscritti. Sono ora disponibili online il Regolamento 2010 e il Modulo di Iscrizione (trovi sotto il link diretto per scaricarli dal sito www.festivalcastelfidardo.it andando sul menù di destra sotto le descrizioni del Premio, tasto “Regolamento” e “Iscrizione”), oppure è possibile richiederli cartacei alla Pro Loco di Castelfidardo (+39 071 7823162 – prolococ@tiscali.it). Le domande di iscrizione al Concorso devono pervenire entro il 31 agosto 2010 alla Segreteria del Premio presso il Comune di Castelfidardo. | Il Festival maratona sulla Fisarmonica sarà della durata di quattro giorni, dal 24 al 27 Maggio 2010. Il Festival, che comprenderà seminari, master e stand espositivi di editori specializzati e costruttori di fisarmoniche nei giorni di Lunedì, Martedì e Mercoledì, il concerto solistico di Mika Väyrynen il Mercoledì ed un Concorso Internazionale per solisti di Fisarmonica, nei giorni di Mercoledì e Giovedì, si prefigge di promuovere e valorizzare “La Fisarmonica” nella musica contemporanea grazie all’intervento di concertisti e didatti divenuti un punto di riferimento in tal senso. Gli allievi che interverranno al Festival potranno usufruire delle lezioni dei docenti ospiti Mika Väyrynen e Frédéric Deschamps nonché partecipare al Concorso Internazionale di cui al Bando che segue. La mancata iscrizione alle Masterclasses non precluderà la facoltà di partecipazione al Concorso. Le lezioni delle Masterclasses saranno individuali e l’orario di lezione sarà determinato sulla base del numero dei partecipanti. La quota di iscrizione ai soli Master è di € 80 per gli allievi effettivi e di € 30 per gli allievi uditori. Per gli allievi interni del Conservatorio Santa Cecilia di Roma il Master è gratuito. |

  Finnish accordionist Mika Väyrynen recently celebrated the release of his newest CD ‘Misterium’ (No FAICD-23), featuring works by Janacek, Kaipainen, Hannikainen, Korpijaakko, Scriabin, and Kusjakov. The CD, titled after final work of Anatoli Kusjakov, features his Sonata No. 7 ‘Misterium’, which was dedicated to Mika and premiered in 2008 when Mika performed in concert at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Some of these same works can be heard in Mika’s solo recital presented in the Great Hall of the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland in November 2009. | Accordion Professor Mirjana Petercol and her students from the Kassel Music Academy organize concerts featuring works by composers from the former USSR on Sunday January 24th and Monday January 25th in the neo-Gothic Ringskirche, Wiesbaden. Concert publicity advertises: “A breath of passion, great musical gestures and a lot of virtuoso fingers promise a musical highlight" The concerts will feature compositions for solo accordion and chamber music ensembles by Arro, Sviridov, Zolotarev, Rimsky-Korsakov, Mussorgsky, Shamo, and others. The host, the cantor of the Ringkirche Mr. Kielblock, will also perform Russian compositions on the organ. Admission is free, though donations for the restoration of the Ringskirche organ will be highly appreciated. |

 The Festival Het Accordeon 2010 takes place in Deventer, Netherlands, from February 11th to 14th. This festival includes concerts, workshops, trade show and other activities, including some world premieres. Festival highlights include:February 11th, 8pm – Concert at the Bergkerk: ‘Dutch talent, studying abroad’, including Erica Roozendaal, Emina Niksic, Pieternel Berkers and Renée Bekkers - performances of original pieces for accordion, including some special Dutch premieres. February 12th, 12.15pm - Deventer Schouwburg: Lunchtime concert by accordion students of the Artez Conservatory of Enschede. February 12th, 8pm - Deventer schouwburg: Jazz concert by The Millennium Jazz Orchestra (MD Joan Reinders), featuring US accordion legend Frank Marocco (picture right).  Harry Hussey and Ken Astin are the guests at Stockport Accordion Club on Wednesday February 10th, 8pm. The venue is Woodley Methodist Church, Chapel Street/A560 Hyde Road, Woodley, Stockport, Cheshire SK6 1ND (J25/M60). This concert, originally set for January 13th, was postponed and re-arranged due to snow, freezing temperatures and impassable roads. Harry Hussey is a master improviser and jazz accordionist. Ken Astin, after spending many years as an organist entertaining the public in Blackpool, has returned to the accordion, his first love. This is the first time Ken Astin and Harry Hussey have played together as guests at an accordion club, though they did make a CD of jazz standards together in 2005 titled ‘Our Kind of Music’.
