  Il 25° Akordeono Festivalis Vilnius 2022 (25° anniversario del Festival Internazionale della Fisarmonica di Vilnius 2022) si terrà a Vilnius, Lituania, dal 5 al 25 novembre 2022.Il festival inizierà con un concerto di Raimondas Sviackevicius (foto a destra) il 5 novembre alle 19:00 e terminerà il 25 con un concerto di Kimmo Pohjonen (Finlandia - foto a sinistra) nella Entertainment Hall Vakaris di Vilnius alle 19:30.  La "Settimana Internazionale della Fisarmonica" 2022 si svolgerà a partire dal 25 ottobre 2022 a Catanzaro, in Calabria, Italia.  Pietro Roffi (foto a sinistra) si esibirà con l'Orchestra Filarmonica Bohuslav Martinu (foto sotto - diretta da Robert Kruzik) presso il Centro Congressi Zlín di Zlin, Repubblica Ceca, il 10 novembre 2022 alle 19:00.Il concerto intitolato "La magia delle fiabe" comprenderà "Fairy Tales" per fisarmonica e orchestra (una suite in sette movimenti di Václav Trojan), Hansel e Gretel, ouverture dell'opera (di Engelbert Humperdinck) e Scheherazade, Op. 35 (di Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov). Molti compositori nel corso della storia hanno tratto ispirazione dalle fiabe per il loro lavoro, e sono opere di Humperdinck, Trojan e Rimsky-Korsakov basate su temi popolari che compongono questo concerto.  Il 18 febbraio 2023 si terrà presso l'Hilton Hotel Templepatrick, nella contea di Antrim, Irlanda del Nord, il Northern Ireland Open Accordion Championships, organizzato da Clyde Johnston (foto a sinistra).Il concorso comprenderà sezioni esclusivamente per bande di fisarmonicisti in marcia, con sezioni graduate per marce militari e armonia in quattro parti, melodia e sezioni tradizionali irlandese/scozzese. Per riflettere il vero suono e lo spirito delle bande musicali di fisarmoniche, le bande partecipanti possono suonare solo musica e strumenti che usano in parata, l’amplificazione e l’elettronica non sono consentite.   Applications are now open for the 2023 Federal Accordion Orchestra Bundesakkordeonorchester (BuAkkO) of the DHV, for musicians who are either full-time associated with the accordion as music students, music teachers, soloists or conductors or who are sufficiently qualified as amateurs for participation in such an ensemble due to their ability to play at a professional level.The 2023 Bundesakkordeonorchester (BuAkkO) will be conducted by Silke D’Inka (picture right) and players must be aged 27 and over.  The 1st International Composition Video Contest: Trophée Mondiale Gorka Hermosa will be held this year organised by the Confédération Mondiale de L`accordion.Each candidate must play a work by composer Gorka Hermosa for solo, any chamber music group, ensemble or accordion and orchestra. Video’s must be submitted by November 15th, 2022 and must be recorded in one continuous video. The jury will be composed of President of the Jury, Gorka Hermosa and members chosen by the composer himself. Gorka Hermosa will compose a piece dedicated to the winner of the competition. |

| The All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Prospects for the Development of Pedagogy and Performance on Bayan & Accordion" will be held in Moscow on November 1st, 2022. The conference is held with the aim of organizing an open professional platform for discussing current problems and directions in the development of the system of children's art schools and children's music schools in the implementation of additional pre-professional and general development programs. Within the framework of the Conference, teachers will be able to demonstrate practical achievements in the field of pedagogy and performance on the bayan and accordion, as well as modern forms and methods of organizing the educational process. |

| Vincent Lhermet is the 2022 Accordion Professor at the Paris Conservatoire – CNSMDP (Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris) in France. Vincent said he was honoured to continue Professor Max Bonnay’s work as accordion professor at the Paris Conservatoire. Entrance examinations will take place in February 2023 in Paris as follows: • Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees: registrations are open until November 15th, 2022 Artist diploma and PhD programs: applications in Spring 2023 and auditions in September 2023. The ensemble were invited to perform by the Stevenage Accordion Group led by Shona Holmes, who have a longtime friendship with the Nu¨rnberger Akkordeon-Ensemble. L'evento è stato ospitato dal membro della CIA accordeon.ch dal 4 al 9 ottobre 2022. Fondata nel 1935 a Parigi, in Francia, la Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) è membro dell'International Music Council, una NGO partner ufficiale dell'UNESCO.) L'Associazione americana dei fisarmonicisti (AAA) e la Corporazione internazionale dei fisarmonicisti e degli insegnanti (ATG) condividono da tempo l'appartenenza degli Stati Uniti alla CIA. Oltre 80 concorrenti hanno gareggiato in sei categorie di concorso, con vincitori in rappresentanza di diversi Paesi. Il vincitore della Coupe Mondiale di quest'anno è stato il fisarmonicista serbo Dragoslav Vasiljevic. In una competizione entusiasmante, dopo tre impegnativi turni di gara svoltisi nell'arco di diversi giorni, con un punteggio di 23,49 ha preceduto di poco il cinese Hang Ding, che con 23,41 si è piazzato a poche frazioni di punto. La delegazione americana quest'anno comprendeva Kevin Friedrich in rappresentanza dell'AAA (anche ambasciatore della CIA) e la presidente dell'ATG Mary Ann Covone, Joan Cochran Sommers (membro onorario della CIA e presidente della giuria della 75a Coupe Mondiale) e Liz Finch in rappresentanza dell'ATG. Il sindaco di Zofingen, Christiane Guyer, ha dato il benvenuto a tutti alla 75ª Coupe Mondiale di Zofingen durante il concerto di apertura che ha visto una serie di esibizioni svizzere uniche, tra cui Yodeling e Alp Horns, oltre al vincitore della Coupe Mondiale 2021 tenutasi a Monaco, Olzhas Nurlanov. Durante l'evento sono state effettuate tre presentazioni speciali, tra cui il CIA Merit Award per gli eccezionali contributi al movimento internazionale della fisarmonica, che è andato a Vojin Vasovic dalla Serbia e al Prof. Ricardas Sviackevicius dalla Lituania, mentre l'Honored Friend of the Accordion Award per i servizi resi al movimento della fisarmonica è stato consegnato a Lois Breitfuss dall'Austria. Dopo la rielezione di Mirco Patarini (Italia) a Presidente della CIA, avvenuta lo scorso anno, l'Assemblea Generale ha previsto le elezioni per tutte le altre cariche. I nuovi membri eletti del Comitato esecutivo della CIA sono: Kevin Friedrich (USA - Ambasciatore), Zorica Karakutovska (Macedonia del Nord - Vicepresidente), Jörgen Sundeqvist (Svezia - Vicepresidente), Kimmo Mattila (Finlandia - Segretario generale), Alexander Selivanov (Russia - Presidente del Comitato musicale), Harley Jones (Nuova Zelanda - Responsabile delle pubbliche relazioni) e Li Cong (Cina - Vicepresidente, non nella foto). Oltre al rieletto presidente, Alexander Selivanov (Russia), i membri del Comitato musicale della CIA sono: Grayson Masefield (Nuova Zelanda - Vicepresidente), Jirí Lukeš (Repubblica Ceca), Ruedi Marty (Svizzera), Danijela Gazdic (Bosnia-Erzegovina), Antonio Spaccarotella (Italia) e, non presente nella foto, Crystal Wang (CongYu Wang - Cina). Per completare le competizioni, si sono tenuti diversi magnifici concerti, tra cui la spettacolare Misa a Buenos Aires di Martin Palmeri eseguita dall'Orchestra di fisarmoniche Brittnau e dal Coro Soland sotto la direzione di Ruth Soland con i solisti Susanne Wiesner (contralto) e Julien Tudisco (bandoneon). La Blue Project Orchestra, forte di 60 elementi, è un gruppo formato appositamente per l'evento e si è esibita sotto la direzione di Lionel Chapuis. Il programma comprendeva opere legate al "blu", tra cui Blue Rondo a la Turk, Rhapsody in Blue di George Gershwin con pianoforte solista di Ettienne Murith e Bluesette di Jean Thielmanns e Worlgang Russ. Il concerto di premiazione si è aperto con la prima mondiale di una nuova opera finlandese del celebre compositore Kalevi Aho, quando Janne Valkeajoki ha eseguito la sua Sonata n. 3 di recente composizione. Dopo cinque giorni intensi di concorsi e concerti, il festival Coupe Mondiale si è concluso con i protagonisti dell'evento, i giovani artisti stessi, con la consegna dei premi e il concerto dei vincitori delle sei categorie di concorso. Tutti i risultati della Coupe Mondiale su: www.coupemondiale.org Il presidente Yvonne Glur, membro svizzero della CIA, e il vicepresidente onorario Ruedi Marti hanno ricevuto una standing ovation per aver organizzato l'evento. | The CNIMA directed by Nathalie Boucheix will hold their final workshop for adults this year from November 7th to 11th, 2022. The course is specifically designed for adults with smaller classes adapted to the specific problems of adults in a friendly atmosphere by tutors Jacques Mornet and Nathalie Boucheix. The workshop will cover instrumental work based on the Jacques Mornet method, approach of the accordion as a wind instrument, management of the air column and the bellows, search for a balance between body and instrument, work on touch and articulations and quest for musicality.
