 Il 13 febbraio Friedrich Lips si è esibito in concerto con l'Orchestra da Camera di Stato della Repubblica di Belarus ( Evgenij Bushkov, direttore d'orchestra ), a Minsk.Il programma prevedeva "Orava" di Wojciech Kilar per orchestra d'archi e ' Capote ' di Giya Kancheli per bayan, batteria, basso e orchestra d'archi nella prima parte e ' Inno ad Afrodite ' di Konstantin Yaskov per bayan e archi ( prima mondiale, composto appositamente per questo concerto ), e ' Viva voce ' di Efraim Podgaits per bayan e orchestra da camera dopo la pausa. Dopo la standing ovation, due tanghi di Piazzolla sono stati eseguiti come bis. | Video: Circassian Music Band di Kfar Kama. Il Bayan Mix duo Sergey Voytenko e Valery Semin si sono esibiti durante il ricevimento per l'apertura delle Olimpiadi invernali di Sochi, Russia. All'evento hanno partecipato il presidente Vladimir Putin, che è stato colpito dalla riproduzione dei fisarmonicisti ospiti. Immagine del Presidente Putin e Bayan Mix sopra. Le Olimpiadi invernali, un grande evento internazionale multi-sport, vanno dal 7 al 23 febbraio. Sochi è considerata la capitale tradizionale per il popolo circasso, un gruppo etnico del Caucaso del Nord che è stata in gran parte dislocato dalla zona sin dalla fine del 1800 dopo la guerra russo-circassa. La musica circassa è folk e trascinante, grazie soprattutto a fisarmonica, flauto e percussioni rudimentali. La Circassian Music Band di Kfar Kama è una delle band di musica folk circasse, che si è esibita a Sochi. Nel video qui sopra eseguono musica folk circassa. |

  Lo scorso 7 Febbraio presso il teatro del Cremlino di Mosca si è tenuto il concerto del famoso fisarmonicista russo Valery Kovtun.Da 17 anni il Sig. Kovtun realizza concerti da solista accompagnato dalle migliori orchestre sinfoniche o dalle migliori band internazionali. La sala dove si è tenuto il concerto conta circa 6.000 posti a sedere che in questa occasione erano gremiti di persone, il Sig Kovtun è solito invitare i migliori fisarmonicisti a questo concerto come ad esempio il grandissimo Richard Galliano ed altri giovani talenti provenienti da diversi paesi di tutto il mondo. Quest’anno la nostra azienda è molto orgogliosa di aver visto il nostro Presidente Patarini Mirco ospite d’onore di questo incredibile evento. Egli ha deliziato il pubblico presente con alcuni dei migliori brani del panorama fisarmonicistico come Polka di Pietro Frosini Caprice N24 di Paganini con alcune variazioni di fisarmonica. C’erano anche altri ospiti come Alexander Kolomiytsev da San Pietroburgo (vincitore 2013 della Coupe Mondiale e del Trophee Mondiale), Nikita Vlasov da Nizhni Novgorod (vincitrice 2013 dell’Acco-Holiday)ed Elisaveta Keizerova da Minsk Bielorussia. |

  Sabato 22 febbraio Carrickfergus, Antrim, ospita il più grande festival della fisarmonica in Irlanda del Nord.I 17 annuali Campionati Aperti di fisarmonica NAO Irlanda del Nord, organizzati dal maestro locale Clyde Johnston, hanno attirato un record di 215 iscrizioni con concorrenti provenienti da luoghi come l'Inghilterra, la Scozia e la Repubblica d'Irlanda, oltre a parecchie iscrizioni locali. L'anno scorso c'è stato un record di 210 iscrizioni e questo è stato ormai superato. L'evento promette di essere una vera e propria festa della musica per fisarmonica con tre sale in uso tutto il giorno. Per tutti i tipi di musica per fisarmonica ci sarà solo, duo, gruppi, orchestrali e marching band per tutte le età e gradi, che comprendono stili che vanno dal classico e continentale al tradizionale. La sede di questa festa è il Clarion Hotel, Carrickfergus, a partire dalle 09:00 fino alle 17:00, con la premiazione che si terrà più tardi quella sera al 'Ballo di Gala' in hotel. L'ingresso è gratuito durante il giorno. Questo festival è qualificatore per i Campionati dell'Organizzazione Nazionale della Fisarmonica del Regno Unito, che si svolgono presso l'Adelphi Hotel, Liverpool, dal 25 al 27 aprile (poster a sinistra). Inoltre, vi è un festival NAO il 22 febbraio a Paisley in Scozia organizzato da Brian Laurie e il giorno successivo, il Festival NAO nel nord ovest dell'Inghilterra, Manchester, organizzato da Marika Pronyszyn. This video grabbed top spot for the 20th January World Music Video Chart on websiite beat100.com Below are excerpts from an article published by the New Zealand music guide MusicNation.co.nz TNT is an Auckland (New Zealand) based professional female trio that was formed in 2011 to bring a fresh sound and dimension to the music scene worldwide. Following the international phenomenon and success of classical crossover female string quartets and trios that launched over the last decade, TNT’s originality, instrument choice, sound, compositions and presentation style is unique. The combination of electric violin / electric cello / and electric digital accordion creates a new dimension and pushes once again the boundaries, ensuring that these glamorous and provocative young women stand out from what has gone before.  A short video, ‘The band plays on…’, takes a look at the activities and members of the Cheshire-based Weaver Valley Accordion Band. Founded in 1982 by MD Ken Farran, the WVAB has performed regularly in concerts and NAO and other contests, and has performed in Germany and the Netherlands. The WVAB has a broad repertoire, and has recorded three CDs. Ken Farran, a well-known accordion teacher and adjudicator is a Vice President of the National Accordion Organisation of the United Kingdom (NAO), and a member of the Governing Council and the Teachers Advisory Council of the British College of Accordionists. In 2000 he was given an Award of Merit from the NAO for his services to the accordion, and in Ken travelled to Italy for the 2012 65th CIA Coupe Mondiale where he received the prestigious ‘Honored Friend of the Accordion’ award (picture left with his wife Wendy Farran) in appreciation for his outstanding contributions to the accordion movement.  The Accordions Worldwide news for the week ending February 25th 2000 included dates for some concerts by Myron Floren, by then a veteran accordionist. Myron Floren (1919-2005), an American of Norwegian descent, was best known as the accordion soloist with the Lawrence Welk Orchestra, from 1950 to 1982. Throughout most of these years Floren was seen playing on the weekly ‘Lawrence Welk Show’ on TV, which made him a household name. He also ran the Myron Floren Orchestra and did many solo concerts and recordings. Floren's autobiography ‘Accordion Man’ was published in 1981. In 1992 the Confédération International des Accordéonistes awarded Myron Floren their Merit Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the international accordion movement.Myron Floren on the Road Again – USA Contributed by Faithe Deffner, Ernest Deffner Publications The indomitable Myron Floren will perform in Hildago, Texas on March 4th and 5th with the Dean Conti Band. A week later, he will play with Warren Bill's Band in Deland and Orlando, Florida, followed by a stint at Cypress Gardens on March 11th and 12th, and in Daytona on March 14th. He is booked in California and Indiana during April and May and will appear at the Welk Resort in Branson, Missouri from May 30th to June 3rd. |
