Il fisarmonicista lituano Martynas Levickis ha ricevuto il premio Strumentista dell'anno 2023 dell'Opus Klassik all'inizio di questo mese. La cerimonia di premiazione si è tenuta presso la prestigiosa Berlin Concert Hall in Germania. Martynas ha dichiarato: "Questo premio è un grande onore e la conferma che sono sulla strada giusta". Ha ringraziato "tutti coloro che hanno contribuito al suo ultimo album "Autograph", in particolare i produttori musicali Vilis e Aleksandra Kerams per il fantastico sound della registrazione, così come i membri di "Mikroorkéstra", per i loro arrangiamenti di canzoni folk così speciali". La Radio e Televisione Nazionale Lituana (LRT) ha riferito che Martynas ha anche avuto l'onore di eseguire un collage musicale delle opere popolari lituane "Beauštanti aušrele" e "Ruta žalioj" insieme alla "Konzerthausorchester" di Berlino, diretta da Joana Mallwitz, durante la premiazione. Ancora una volta, il fisarmonicista è apparso nel finale della cerimonia e, insieme ad altri artisti, ha suonato un collage delle opere di George Gershwin "Blue Rhapsody" e "I got Rhythm". |

 La crociera 2024 dell'Associazione finlandese della fisarmonica si terrà il 23 e 24 marzo 2024, navigando sulla Baltic Princess.La nave da crociera, con circa 2.200 fisarmonicisti, partirà da Turku, in Finlandia, il 23 marzo 2024 alle ore 18:30. Si sposterà a Kapellskär, in Svezia, e tornerà a Turku il 24 marzo alle 16:30. Il Baltic Princess è "riservato interamente ai fisarmonicisti ed è come un paradiso sonoro per quasi un giorno". "La musica suona dalla sera alla mattina e dalla mattina alla sera nei locali e nei corridoi della nave, grazie a fisarmonicisti sia professionisti che dilettanti". 74° Festival scozzese della fisarmonica e del violino di Perth - Scoziaby AWW |

| Il 27 e 28 ottobre 2023 si terrà a Perth, in Scozia, il 74° Festival scozzese della fisarmonica e del violino, che prevede l'organizzazione del Campionato scozzese di fisarmonica. L'evento inizierà con un ballo di benvenuto venerdì sera 27 ottobre, dalle 20:00 alle 23:30 presso il Moncrieffe Suite, Salutation Hotel di Perth. Tra gli artisti che si esibiranno troviamo la Gordon Shand Scottish Dance Band, The Shands (foto sotto) e The Lomond Ceilidh Band. Il 28 ottobre, le gare si terranno presso il Salutation Hotel e la chiesa di St. Matthews a Perth a partire dalle 9:00 del mattino. I giudici della fisarmonica sono: John Carmichael, Kevin Clark, Jim Lindsay e Neil Copland. Dalle 13:30 alle 16:00 si terrà una serata informale presso il Perth Salutation Bar, guidata dalla Lomond Ceilidh Band. Dalle 16:30 alle 18:00 si terrà un "Gran Finale" presso la Moncrieffe Suite, Salutation Hotel di Perth, che "mette in mostra i migliori talenti della scena della fisarmonica e del violino". | Sono aperte le prenotazioni per la Giornata della Super Orchestra di Fisarmoniche 2023 (Super Accordion Orchestra Day), che si terrà presso la Cobham Village Hall nel Surrey, in Inghilterra, Regno Unito, il 29 ottobre 2023, ospitata dal Club della fisarmonica di Guildford. L'evento è una "fantastica giornata di musica per fisarmonica per più musicisti. Vieni a portare i tuoi amici che suonano la fisarmonica". È previsto un entusiasmante programma di musica. Nella sala posteriore si terrà una sezione per principianti e bambini con la possibilità di prendere in prestito una fisarmonica da suonare durante la giornata. Questo deve essere prenotato in anticipo. La giornata si concluderà con un concerto che vedrà la partecipazione della Super Orchestra, dell'Orchestra di fisarmoniche di Tillingbourne, della Watford Accordion Band e dei London Accordion Players. The Astana Times Kazakhstan reporter, Aibarshyn Akhmetkali, featured an item on Kazakh accordion 2021 Coupe Mondiale winner, Olzhas Nurlanov this month as follows: “Kazakh accordionist Olzhas Nurlanov mesmerized the European audience with his profound performances during his September concerts in Bosnia and Herzegovina (a the 2023 Coupe Mondiale), Serbia and Germany, reported NF media. Nurlanov holds the 2021 world champion title among accordionists as the winner of the 74th Coupe Mondiale international competition. Nurlanov was invited to Bosnia and Herzegovina for a solo concert in Bijeljina and to perform with the President of the International Association of Accordionists Mirco Patarini and former Coupe Mondiale winners in Ugljevik, Kirill Rusinov, Alexander Selivanov and Grayson Masefield. Nurlanov’s remarkable artistry and technical prowess have enabled him to broaden the accordion’s repertoire, incorporating Kazakh traditional music such as Kurmangazy’s “Adai” and Nagim Mendygaliev’s “Poem-Legend of Dombra.” His program also featured classical pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, Domenico Scarlatti, Modest Mussorgsky, Camille Saint-Saëns, and Robert Schumann. He also performed works by Vladislav Zolotaryov and Alexander Kholminov, both of whom composed original music for the accordion. Nurlanov’s skills also impressed Milan Tomic, a famous musician and the organizer of the annual accordion festival in Kragujevac, Serbia, who invited him to perform three concerts in the Serbian cities of Kragujevac, Valjevo, and Kraljevo. After Serbia, Nurlanov traveled to Italy to participate in one of the most prestigious international competitions for accordionists, the 48th edition of the PIF 2023Castelfidardo. This year, 20 finalists from around the world performed live for the judges, including two solo performances and one with an orchestra. Nurlanov won the second prize. While in Italy, Nurlanov was invited to the famed Beltuna factory and he concluded his tour with solo concerts in the German cities of Heppenheim and Langenzenn. “In 2024, Nurlanov plans to tour several countries, including Switzerland, Germany and Serbia. Additionally, he is in discussions for a potential tour in China.” |

| The Aotango Quintet began their four-concert tour of the North Island of New Zealand with a performance at the Dargaville Methodist Church on October 2nd, 2023. The concert delighted the audience and finished with several encores and a standing ovation.   La Accordionists & Teachers Guild, International (ATG) è molto orgogliosa di commissionare un documentario che commemora il lavoro del Dr. Helmi Harrington, studioso ed esperto di tutto ciò che riguarda la fisarmonica, curatore sin dall'inizio, presso il World of Accordions Museum di Superior, Wisconsin, USA.Il film metterà in evidenza la collezione di fisarmoniche del museo e racconterà la storia della nascita e dello sviluppo della fisarmonica nel corso degli anni. Il team di produzione è di Chicago - Mobula Productions e Nikola Stojkovic (studente dell'Accademia della fisarmonica di Chicagoland, scrittore e produttore cinematografico) dirige l'azione! Le riprese al museo sono iniziate il 30 settembre 2023. Potrete vedere l’uscita del prodotto finale nei prossimi mesi.
