L'evento è il Premio della Critica per le produzioni di fisarmonica ed è rivolto ad artisti italiani, organizzato dall'Associazione Promozione Arte, Direttore Artistico Gerlando Gatto (foto in alto a destra), Renzo Ruggieri (Presidente - foto in alto a sinistra) e Giuseppe Di Falco (Segretario).   La Sibelius Academy dell'Università delle Arti di Helsinki si è classificata al 9° posto nelle Arti dello Spettacolo nella classifica QS World University Rankings 2021. La QS World University Rankings by Subject ha elencato le migliori università che offrono corsi di laurea in arti dello spettacolo per la sesta volta.La classe di fisarmonica della Sibelius Academy è stata fondata nel 1977 da Matti Rantanen, che ha passato il testimone a Veli Kujala (foto in alto a sinistra) nell'ottobre 2020. I colleghi di Kujala sono Helka Kymäläinen (pedagogia della fisarmonica), Mika Väyrynen (strumento principale, musica da camera, accordatura, prima vista), Matti Rantanen (strumento principale), Heidi Velamo (strumento principale dell'accademia junior) e Niko Kumpuvaara (improvvisazione e accompagnamento). Negli ultimi 40 anni della sua esistenza, la classe di fisarmonica dell'Accademia ha prodotto molti illustri artisti, vincitori di concorsi internazionali, importanti pedagoghi, innumerevoli diplomi fisarmonica. |

| L'XI All-Russian Competition "Green City Spring" si terrà online dal 10 aprile al 20 maggio 2021. L'evento annuale è sostenuto dall'Ufficio del bilancio statale per l'istruzione professionale aggiuntiva e l'eccellenza nella città di Mosca "Direzione dei programmi educativi nella cultura e nelle arti", Il Centro per l'eccellenza professionale del DOP di Mosca per Bayan e fisarmonica, Dmitri Hvorostovsky State Institute of Arts e College of Art del Governatore di Mosca. I concorrenti saranno valutati dalla giuria che comprende Naiko Sergey Fedorovich (Presidente), Artyom Evgenyevich e Maxim Fedorov (docente presso il Governor's College of Art di Mosca, polistrumentista, vincitore di concorsi internazionali). Le candidature si apriranno il 10 aprile e chiuderanno il 28 aprile 2021. I partecipanti invieranno le loro esibizioni tramite video. | Il ritiro della Houston Accordion Orchestra del 2022 si terrà presso il Kemah Boardwalk Inn a Kemah, Texas, USA dal 13 al 16 gennaio 2022. Il tema del 2022 sarà emozionante, "Un collage di musica europea" e presenterà la musica di Russia, Francia, Italia, Moldova, Finlandia e Azerbaigian, oltre alla prima mondiale di una nuova Overture orchestrale di Stas Venglevski. Il successo dell'evento di 4 giorni del 2021 presentato da Stas Venglevski e dalla Houston Accordion Orchestra è stato un ritiro a tema “Tango Fever”. Originariamente si erano iscritte 40 persone per partecipare, ma a causa della crisi Covid il conteggio finale è stato ridotto a 14 membri dell'orchestra più i loro coniugi e ospiti. L'evento ha caratterizzato un "Concerto di composizioni musicali originali" che è stato molto popolare. |

 Sono ora aperte le iscrizioni per il Concorso Internazionale di Musica online “Les Etoiles Sancyberie” che si terrà dal 26 aprile al 2 maggio 2021 a Riom, Auvergne, Francia. Il presidente dell'associazione è il fisarmonicista Roman Jbanov.L'associazione "Sancyberie" è stata costituita nell'aprile 2009 con l'obiettivo di introdurre la cultura russa in tutte le sue forme nella bellissima regione dell'Alvernia ed esportare la cultura francese in Russia. Il concorso offre lezioni per solisti, ensemble e orchestre a fisarmonicisti e musicisti di balalaika, domra e altri strumenti popolari di tutto il mondo. I membri della giuria includono Konstantin Ischenko, Trofim Antipov, Sergey Teleshev, Tatyana Saratova, Renzo Ruggieri, Sergey Voytenko, Galymzhan Narymbetov, Anibal Freire, Raynald Ouellet, Roman Kozlovsky, Roberto Lucanero. Tutti i vincitori ei loro insegnanti riceveranno un invito a partecipare a una competizione faccia a faccia in Francia nel 2022. | Video: Concert to celebrate the birthdays of Astor Piazzolla and Aydar Gaynullin (bayan) with a performance of Happy Birthday and "Libertango" with Artyom Dervoed (guitar), Sergey Shamov (percussion). Vladislav Lavrik (conductor & trumpet) performed with the Russian National Orchestra at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. Aydar Gaynullin says "Astor Piazzolla is 100 years old today! The man who elevated the tango genre to the highest level, giving the world incredibly emotional and passionate music! Unfortunately, our 2021 concert today at the Berlin Philharmonic was cancelled due to the pandemic, but this video from January 2020 is especially important to me, because to celebrate my birthday together with the anniversary of the Great Astor - it's worth a lot!" |

 Organisers of the Vancouver Folk Music Festival regret to advise that after “countless hours of deliberation, they have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Folk Music Festival”, which was due to run from July 16th to 18th, 2021.Due to the “uncertainty of current conditions, immunization timelines, and what may be possible as vaccines continue to rollout to the public at large, the safety of the community, staff, contractors, artists, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, suppliers, patrons and festival supporters continues to be of utmost importance.” Refunds will be available for 2020 ticket holders. Organisers also wish to give people the opportunity to donate the cost of their ticket and all ticket holders will be contacted via email as soon as possible. |

| Popular entertainer Brandon Mcphee held an online concert entitled “St Patrick’s Day Concert – A Tribute to Ireland” on March 17th, 2021, with guest Manson Grant. Manson is a Country Music Veteran from "Manson Grant and the Dynamos" fame. Ticket information above.  Video: "Apricot" by Uri Sharlin with the Avi Avital TrioUri Sharlin (picture right) performed a concert at the Teo Centre for Art and Culture in Herzliya Pituah, Israel on March 15th, 2021. The live concert featured the “Piaf” show, French singer-songwriter, cabaret performer and film actress Edith Piaf. On March 28th at 2pm (NYC time), Uri will give an online “Forro” workshop for the Brooklyn Accordion Club in USA. Uri is an Israeli-born composer, accordionist and pianist, who has collaborated with prominent musicians including Natalie Merchant, Suzan Vega, Antony and the Johnsons, Avi Avital, and Frank London. "He feels at home across genres, and his two albums to date fuse his jazz and classical background with Balkan rhythms, Arabic modes and Brazilian harmonies." | One of Ireland's accomplished musicians, Sharon Shannon, will perform a special global online concert from the National Concert Hall Dublin on March 20th, 2021. This event will celebrate music and song on St Patrick's weekend and joins a series of online performances in a partnership with the National Concert Hall and Serious. Sharon will perform music from her new album “The Reckoning”, as well as many old favourites. She will be joined by Irish-Zimbabwean singer Lucia Evans, fellow former Waterboy Trevor Hutchinson (double bass), Niall Murphy (violin), Alan Connor (piano and guitar), Steve Hogan (drums), Luke Dunford (organ), Jack Maher (guitar and vocals) and Jim Murray (guitar). | The Orquesta Sinfónica de Acordeones de Bilbao (directed by Amagoia Lorono) will hold their annual meeting at their headquarters in Hurtado de Amézaga on March 27th at 1.30pm. | Auckland accordionist Tracey Collins will entertain at the 58th Easter National Jazz Festival which will be held in Tauranga from April 2nd to 4th, 2021. After the disappointment of having to cancel the 2020 Festival due to COVID-19, organisers are especially pleased to be hosting this year’s event, which is supported by the Tauranga City Council and TECT. Tracey will entertain on a scenic Jazz Sunset Cruise on the historic Kewpie boat, which will cruise the harbour of Tauranga Moana.
