| 11 dicembre - Poster del concerto di apertura sopra 70° anniversario di Efrem Podgaits Concerto per domra e orchestra e Concerto n. 2 "Vivavoce" per bayan e orchestra saranno eseguiti da Ekaterina Mochalova e Aidar Salakhov, accompagnati dalla Russian Soul Orchestra della Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, Direttore Artistico e Direttore d'orchestra - Vladimir Shkurovsky. La seconda parte presenterà armoniche uniche provenienti da diverse parti del mondo. | L’International Accordion Concerto Competition si terrà presso il Croatian Music Institute di Zagabria, in Croazia, dal 17 al 20 settembre 2020. Questo concorso prevede una competizione per fisarmonicisti e bandoneonisti con l'accompagnamento di un'orchestra classica. Il concorso è stato istituito per identificare i musicisti di talento e aiutarli a sviluppare la loro carriera attraverso un'ambientazione da concerto (strumento solista con orchestra) che è generalmente meno accessibile alla fisarmonica. Porta i fisarmonicisti a Zagabria, in Croazia, per esibirsi in questo concorso e dare visibilità internazionale con eminenti orchestre, debutti in famose sale da concerto, tour e uscite di album. È l'occasione di una vita per i fisarmonicisti che vogliono perseguire la propria carriera non solo come artisti internazionali, ma anche come solisti di concerti. I musicisti di qualsiasi età e livello di studio sono incoraggiati ad iscriversi. La giuria internazionale includerà Cesare Chiacchiaretta (Italia), Krešimir Seletkovic (Croazia), Dominique Emorine (Paris Moscou Duo - Francia), Peter Soave (Stati Uniti), Matej Meštrovic (Croazia) e Marjan Krajna (Croazia).  Video: Martynas Levickis - Shallow (A Star Is Born) con Igne Pikalaviciute e MikroorkéstraIl fisarmonicista lituano Martynas Levickis (foto a sinistra) è stato nominato Artista Residente al 2020 Festival Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, tenutosi nella Germania settentrionale. Si unisce a un distinto elenco di artisti dell'evento che comprende Nigel Kennedy, Daniel Hope, Pinchas Zukerman e Daniel Muller-Schott. Martynas, che suona un repertorio classico e contemporaneo afferma: “Questo appuntamento e risultato significano molto per me personalmente e professionalmente. Mi sento fortemente ispirato e sfidato da questo, ma soprattutto orgoglioso del fatto che il mio strumento sia messo in una posizione così importante. È un risultato immenso per me come fisarmonicista e mi sembra di stare su quella linea di demarcazione che identifica lo strumento come degno, rispettato e amato". | Video: Caruso Made in Italy by Marco Lo Russo a "Monitor Laziotv" Accordionist Marco Lo Russo will give two concerts in Latina Province this week. The first will be held on December 14th at 6pm at the Circolo Cittadino di Latina, Italy. This concert is held in conjunction with the “Fall Concert 2019” organised by the International Campus Foundation of Music in Latina. Marco will perform a solo accordion recital with original compositions, world music, jazz and tango. The following day, December 15th, he will perform at the Cathedral of Santa Maria Annunziata in Priverno, Italy. At this event Marco will perform with Korean soprano Min Ji Kang and together they will offer a varied repertoire of Christmas pieces, classical music and some small surprises. | Popular Welsh band “Mabon”, which includes Jamie Smith (accordion & vocals), Oliver Wilson-Dickson (fiddle & vocals), Ron Juppy (guitar & vocals), Matt Downer (electric & upright basses & vocals) and Iolo Whelan (drums, percussion & vocals) have decided to disband in 2020 after twenty years of good times. Band members say they have so many good memories of great concerts across the years and they are truly grateful for your support and enthusiasm along the way. Although it's a thoroughly amicable ending: it's time for new projects for some of the band, and new chapters for others. However, before they finish, the band has launched a final UK tour entitled “The Last Huzzah” beginning in February 2020.
