 Susanne e Veli Kujala Prima mondiale di "Bellows Symphony" – FinlandiaDopo 43 anni di attesa, "Bellows Symphony" di Torbjörn Lundquist (1920-2000 - foto a destra) sarà finalmente eseguita in anteprima da Susanne e Veli Kujala (foto sopra) il 6 novembre 2022 presso la Helsinki Rock Church di Helsinki, in Finlandia. L'opera fu composta da Lundquist nel 1979, ma era considerata troppo impegnativa in quel momento. È venuto all'attenzione di Veli Kujala cercando la homepage ufficiale del compositore gestita dai figli di Lundquist.  Il 4 ° FIA2022, il "Festival Internacional de Acordeón" si terrà a Talcahuano, Hualpén e Concepción nella regione del Biobío in Cile questo mese organizzato dalla Fondazione Entre Fuelles.Il festival comprenderà interviste, conferenze, masterclass, concerti e ospiti internazionali con l'obiettivo di unire la comunità della fisarmonica in tutto il Cile. Joaquín Muñoz Donoso, Direttore della FIA e Presidente della Fondazione Entre Fuelles ha annunciato che vorrebbe ascoltare le storie dei fisarmonicisti e scrivere la "Storia della fisarmonica del Cile". Le interviste al festival finora saranno online tramite i social media con gli intervistati internazionali confermati: Francesca Pigini (Italia), Grayson Masefield (Nuova Zelanda), Julien Beautemps (Francia, foto sotto), Frederic Deschamps (Francia), Renzo Ruggieri (Italia), Volodymyr Kashuta (Ucraina) e Antonino De Luca (Italia, foto in basso a destra) tra gli altri. I concerti si terranno il 10, 11 e 12 novembre presso il Teatro Dante di Talcahuano, con esibizioni di Sebastian Bravo aka Seba Malo (Cile, foto in basso a sinistra), Iñaki Alberdi (Spagna), Seba Mufasa (Cile), Duo Diverso (fisarmonicista Alma Petrauskait e pianista Kristina Jeganian dalla Lituania, foto in basso), Manuel Bustamante (Cile), Pato Pianola (Cile), Miguel Quinchamán (Cile), Yvonne Glur (Svizzera, foto in alto a destra) e Quintet Entre Fuelles. Nel Teatro Dante si terranno conferenze su diversi temi come la musica Manouche, la musica barocca, la musica brasiliana e la luteria e si terranno masterclass nel Centro Culturale Hualpén sulla tecnica professionale.   Video: Mirco Patarini esegue Il Bosco della Musica, una composizione dell'apprezzato Roberto Molinelli. L'esibizione molto ben accolta ha avuto luogo al Conservatorio di Praga in Repubblica Ceca il 28 ottobre 2022. Mirco Patarini si è esibito in tutto il mondo in più di 69 paesi, eseguendo una vasta gamma di generi dal repertorio classico alla musica moderna, dalle esibizioni solistiche ai concerti per fisarmonica e orchestra e con gruppi. Dal 2017 Mirco Patarini è stato Presidente della Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA). Roberto Molinelli ha composto questo originale brano per fisarmonica solista, orchestra d'archi e percussioni, appositamente per il PIF di Castelfidardo. Il titolo deriva dal nome, "Il Bosco della Musica", della fontana artistica progettata da Tonino Guerra che si trova nei giardini di Porta Marina a Castelfidardo. |

  Il Romano Viazzani Ensemble terrà due concerti alla Royal Opera House di Londra, in Inghilterra, questo mese come parte della serie di concerti "Family Sundays".Le sessioni domenicali hanno come tema "Eroi e cattivi" e l'iniziativa della Royal Opera House mira a rendere la musica più accessibile alle famiglie con bambini.  Il Museo di Dargaville, che ospita la superba Accordion Gems di Kevin Friedrich ... Una collezione di fisarmoniche attraverso il tempo... è anche la sede del concerto di Natale di Kevin Friedrich and Friends del 2022.È con grande entusiasmo che il Museo di Dargaville annuncia la ripresa della popolare serie di concerti per la raccolta di fondi che hanno spesso riempito il Centro del Museo di Dargaville. "Christmas Joy" si terrà domenica 4 dicembre alle 13.00 e riunirà ancora una volta la nostra comunità e i nostri ospiti per un magnifico e divertente pomeriggio di musica e amicizia. Questo spettacolo di varietà per famiglie, condotto da Kevin Friedrich, proporrà i brani preferiti delle feste, alcune canzoni da cantare e alcune sorprese presentate da una serie di artisti tra cui: North Shore Accordion Orchestra (diretta da Heather Masefield e Christine Johnstone) con membri quali Grayson Masefield, Maurice Jones, Lian Jones e Kevin Friedrich; Lionel Reekie (vocalist e fisarmonicista), Alanah & Maurice Jones (vocalist), Jone Yelcich (vocalist), Rivertown Singers e Take 6 (coro), Thomas Koloi (pianoforte e voce), Sonja Whitehouse come solista e con il suo Kaipara Ensemble, Ros Gilmour (vocalist), Linda Emmett Litt (percussioni) e altri ancora. L'organizzatrice del concerto, Margaret Tier, si è data da fare per organizzare le prove e riferisce che tutto è pronto per un altro straordinario evento comunitario che mette in mostra un'impressionante schiera di artisti di talento. Il Museo di Dargaville ospita l'unica mostra pubblica di fisarmoniche dell'emisfero meridionale "Accordion Gems, A Master Collection of Accordions Through Time". Istituita e curata da Kevin Friedrich, i 150 strumenti in mostra illustrano l'affascinante evoluzione dello strumento nei suoi quasi 200 anni di storia. I biglietti costano 20 dollari per adulto, mentre per i giovani (15 anni e meno) sono gratuiti. I biglietti per adulti e giovani sono disponibili presso il Museo di Dargaville. | The XIX Moscow International Festival "Harmonica - the Soul of Russia" will be held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Alfred Martinovich Mirek, a highly regarded teacher, author and recipient of many awards in Russia. He is perhaps most famous as the founder of the Museum of Russian Harmonica in Moscow and creator of this festival. The festival program will take place from November 17th to November 21st, 2022. It will include five concerts and the Round Table, the theme of which is the creative heritage of Professor Alfred Martinovich Mirek. Festival concerts will be held at three concert venues as follows: • November 17th at 7pm - Grand opening concert in the Great Concert Hall of the State Budgetary Institution of Culture of Moscow "Memorial Museum of A.N. Skryabin". • November 18th at 4pm - Round table dedicated to the creative heritage of Professor Alfred Martinovich Mirek in the Concert Hall at the Museum of Russian Harmonica A. Mirek. Free admission • November 18th at 7pm - Concert "Magic Accordion" in the Concert Hall at the Museum of Russian Harmonica A. Mirek. • November 19th at 2.30pm - Concert "Parade of Virtuosos" in the Concert Hall at the Museum of Russian Harmonica A. Mirek). • November 20th at 2.30pm - Concert "Variety Kaleidoscope" in the Concert Hall at the Museum of Russian Harmonica A. Mirek. • November 21st - Birthday of Professor A.M. Mirek The final gala concert of the festival will be held in the Chamber Concert Hall at the International House of Music. The final Gala concert will be held in two parts of 60 minutes each. Famous Russian musicians on the bayan, accordion and various types of harmonicas will perform popular Russian folk melodies, masterpieces of world classics and also feature jazz melodies in original arrangements. The performance of the artists will be accompanied by a video about the life, work and cultural heritage of Professor A.M. Mirek. As the 2021 Gold Medalist for the Keyboard Prize at the Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL) Annual Music Competition, Ryan Corbett presented a Recital in London, England on November 1st, to a capacity audience. Born in Glasgow, Ryan Corbett is a classical accordionist who has been described as “one of Scotland’s most exciting young musicians” (The Scotsman). A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland studying with Djordje Gajic, Ryan is a prize winner of numerous national and International competitions. Showcasing his exceptional technical command combined with rich musicianship and dynamic stagecraft, Ryan performed Prelude and Fugue in a minor (BWV 543) by Bach; Sonatas in F Major (K107) and D Major (K97) by Scarlatti; Sonata Op. 13 by Nagaev; Romance in F minor, Op. 5 by Tchaikovsky; Etude on the theme Chiquillin de Bachin by Piazzolla by Angelis and Caprice Espagnol, Op. 37 by Moszkowski. ROSL takes pride in helping launch the careers of their young musicians by offering many performance opportunities at major venues such as Wigmore Hall in London and has established relationships with many leading national and overseas music Festivals. Montsalvat’s expression of interest is open to professional performers and ensembles who would like to present a concert in the Barn Gallery, Upper Gallery or Bluestone Chapel at Montsalvat.  Joseph Natoli has announced that his new project, JANPress Master Classes, will commence with virtual Zoom sessions on November 7th, 2022 at 7pm EST. Each session will be 90 minutes and will occur twice a month. The second session will be held on November 21st, 2022 and continue accordingly on the first and third Monday of each month. The Master Classes will have a very diverse and detailed curriculum, with each session doing deep dive studies on various topics, followed by applied knowledge assignments. Additionally, there will be focus on subject matter that the subscribers specifically want to cover for personal musical growth while using planned and requested curriculum materials to benefit everyone. JANPress Master Classes won't be specializing in just one area of musical interest. A wide variety of topics will be presented, and this will be as close to a college course in a music degree program as possible, yet presented in a relaxed fashion at each attendee's level and speed for the most efficient and complete knowledge share. Each session will be amplified and enhanced by an assignment that follows our LEARN acronym (which stands for Listen, Experiment, Apply, Repeat, Normalize). The topics in each session aim to greatly enhance your musical understanding on widely diverse subjects including all aspects of performance, theory, chord progressions, composition, arranging, ensemble performing, recording, music notation, music & accordion history, music technology and much more.  The 2022 Polka Hall of Fame Awards Show will pay tribute to well-known polka achievers with three days of dancing and a gala, big-band stage show at the Holiday Inn Cleveland South in Independence, Ohio, USA from November 25th to 27th, 2022.Hosted by the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame (the country’s only polka museum), the Awards Show is the highlight of the 58th Thanksgiving Polka Weekend. The Polka Music Awards spectacular is a grand salute to the newest names entering the Polka Hall of Fame. Lifetime achievers are bandleader Joe Kusar, musicians Bill Srnick Sr. and Rudy Kershishnik, plus the Penn Ohio Polka Pals social group. The Board of Trustees adds six names to the Polka Hall of Fame Honor Roll, Bill Bevec, Al Hreno, Eddie Korosa Jr., Bill Srnick Jr., and Chris and Gary Byndas. Two beloved All-Time Cleveland-Style Hits were also chosen by Polka Hall of Fame members. “The Little Café Waltz” and “Smile, Sweetheart, Smile” were early recordings by the late Cleveland bandleaders, Johnny Pecon and Frank Yankovic, America’s Polka King. The weekend is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture. Enjoy three days of music and dancing with top Cleveland-Style and Slovenian polka bands and performers. Featured entertainers include include Grammy-winners Walter Ostanek and Joey Miskulin, plus Hall of Famers Del Sinchak and Jeff and John Pecon, along with Garrett Tatano, Bob Zolka, Klancnik and Friends, and Linda Lee Brown.
