Jazzband Trio "Rony Verbiest" celebrates its 4th anniversary with the launch of the group's debut CD " Ah boa jo‚t ". The CD is mainly jazztinted including classic numbers and new songs, written by Rony, guitarist Hendrik Braeckman and bassist Mario Vermandel.
41 year old accordionist (Rony) has built a firm reputation as accompanist of famous Belgian artists like Johan Verminnen, Koen De Cauter and Les petits belges. He experiments with different music styles and emphasises this in his accordion music strongly as he believes that the instrument still suffers from the one-sided reputation of being suitable for corny tunes.

Audiences ranged in number from 300 to 800 and a great majority of children had never heard nor seen an accordion played close-up.
On January 27th Noton traveled to Los Angeles to join Montreal accordionist Serge Duschene and team Cavagnolo from France at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAAM) Convention. Performances and product demonstrations were offered nonstop to interested accordionists and dealers from around the world.
The tour ended in San Francisco with a formal concert on February 2nd and a workshop the following day, both sponsored by the San Francisco Bay Area Accordion Club.

They arrive by stagecoach, then Tex drives the coach, with Bob and the boys sitting on top singing and playing their instruments. Arkansas Slim (Tex's sidekick) gallops behind the coach on his mule, while singing and playing his concertina. Later he accompanies them all in the song "You are my Sunshine". Then as he heads off to town with Tex to help ensnare the villains, he hands Bob Willis his concertina and says "Here, hold my wrinkle-box!!!"

I was browsing accordionists, Ireland, and noticed that my friend Sue Coppard is listed there. Her address is correctly listed as Wiltshire, but that is in ENGLAND, near Bristol.
I really rate your site; most professional, and very useful! Thanks.
Thank you for the nice comments about Accordions Worldwide! I apologise for the incorrect listing and will have it changed within the week.
