EDITORS NOTE

The accordion is an instrument, that has the versatility of being played in various styles of music, such as classical arrangements, folk, jazz and contemporary music. Almost every week in our news editions, we have items about accordionists in ensembles with other instruments such as violin, piano, cello, etc. New competitions and festivals, both local and international, are now being organised for these ensembles that include accordion. Doesn't this show us that the accordion is becoming more and more popular and widely used in groups with other instruments throughout the world?
