ROLAND INTERACTIVEROLAND V-ACCORDION INTERACTIVE – DISCOVER THE POSSIBILITIES.Sunday late morning was the opportunity to come get up close and personal with the new range of V-Accordions along with Product Specialists, Tracey Collins and Liam French, V-Accordion Product Manager of Roland Australia. With over 10,000 V-Accordions sold since the first model was released in 2004, the Roland V-Accordion is the first instrument of its kind to provide powerful digital modeling technology in a traditional, immediately familiar, accordion design. to be able to show the audience exactly what was happening on the digital viewer of the FR7-X V-Accordion as demonstrator Tracey Collins was making sound changes. A very impressive display had been set up at the Club Marconi with high quality drop down banners, a large video screen and video capability plus a selection of all the models. Roland Australia V-Accordion Product Manager Liam French welcomed the people attending and started off showing a video. |
The Video featured Luigi Bruti, noted accordionist and the originator of the V-Accordion, also the Marketing Director of Roland Europe SpA. V-Accordion History. Luigi Bruti, enumerated many of the advantages of the Roland V-Accordion family such as light weight, able to practise with headphones, price, reliability, no servicing requirements plus a huge range of accordion reed sampled sounds and other digital instruments. | Roland demonstrator and popular New Zealand entertainer Tracey Collins was next showing how the V-Accordion worked and its many sound options. |
Helping the explanations was Liam filming the viewer of the V-Accordion so that the audience could see exactly what Tracey was seeing on the viewer as she was demonstrating many different sounds. | Liam French then moved on showing various accessory products that link into the V-Accordion range such as the new medium sized but light weight amplifer, designed to suit the Roland sounds. |

very tiny super lightweight Cube Monitor amplifier for home use, fold back and small concert use. |
The radio/wireless option was also demonstrated being small and light and easy to clip on to the straps of the accordion enabling wireless use of the Roland V-Accordion models where there is a sound system available at halls and commercial gigs. | After that, everyone was invited to come forward and try the products and ask questions. |

The Sydney Balalaika Orchestra under the direction of Victor Serghie, has long been renowned amongst the concert going public for its polished performances and sparkling presentations. |

Scotland's International Accordion Entertainer John Macdonald put on a | dynamic performance of action and music enjoyed greatly by the audience. |
Well known Queensland accordion entertainer John Cave and | Nerida Farmer from Queensland performed some well appreciated solos |

Sydney based “FUNKORDION” Accordion Ensemble was founded in 2007 to promote the accordion and foster musical goodwill in Australia and overseas. Ensemble performs at the various cultural events in Sydney area directed by Steve Marx. That completed the very successful AATA Gala concert and the event was closed by Ivan Liashenko thanking everyone for their participation. |
