This is the first time a digital accordion category competition has been held in Australia. The rules for this new category align with the Coupe Mondiale digital accordion category which will be held for the first time in 2009. | The second performer in this category was well known accordionist Ivan Liashenko of Australia. The jury awarded a 1st equal placing to the two very different styles of performance, which the audience clearly enjoyed very much. |
